Alcaraz is the favorite is he's fit. Alcaraz is still the strongest player in the world on clay in my opinion, absolutely. He cramped in the final last year, otherwise he would have had a very good chance of taking the title, the cramping took everything away from him and ended the match, there's no debate about that. Sinner could still surprise because he is playing like a machine at the moment and he is SO consistent so it would not surprise me if Sinner takes the French either. Nadal to come out and suddenly win the French with how little he has played competitively, i dont see that happening. If Alcaraz is on form with no injury, he has the ability to beat everyone.
That’s a good point you made. Let’s say right now they are joint favourites. Alcaraz definitely had the momentum and was in control of the match before he cramped but we’ve seen it time and time again Djokovic’s ability to turn matches around so we can’t say for sure that Alcaraz would have won that match. Sinner is an interesting one and you’re right he has been consistent, let’s see how does in Madrid and Rome. Tsitsipas could pose a threat if he returns to the form he showed in 2021. 100% agree with Nadal, it’s a shame tbh with him. Alcaraz will be extremely tough to beat as he's highly motivated to win the French Open this year.
I'm not shedding any tears. He's had it good.
It seems you don’t support Djokovic, haha. Neither do I, but it will be good to see him continue challenging for the top titles.
Best video so far! well done!
I appreciate that man!
Idemoooo Noleeee careeee!!! 👍👍👍👏👏👏
What a player! 👏
This is a warm-up tournament for the French Open. Come on people give him a break, he hasn't won Monte Carlo since 2015.
Exactly! Djokovic will bounce back.
@@GrandSlamStats Yes, thank you. You're exactly right.
Thank you. Let's hope the clay season is good and competitive.
