There was a place in Durham, NC, called Mt Fuji. Their California roll was different. It used smelt roe in place of the cucumber and had sesame seeds on the outside, it was amazing, esp since I cannot stand cucumber. I prefer the imitation crab too.

You didn't specify downtown or in the valley, but there's an AYCE sushi at "it's Sushi" on Spring Mountain east of Decatur. Medium sized place, decent prices, open late. Check it out!

I love Sushi, but no longer can have it. We have a very good Sushi Bar and the owner is so great, he makes me a wonderful fried rice and my husband gets his favorite sushi.
I'[m guessing that the El Cortez know you as a regular customer. Always watch your cash and don't chase after your loses. Continue to take advantage of those comps and coupons and you'll be ok.

There is one at 4141 S Pecos Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89121, AYCE Sushi & Asian Fusion. I am pretty sure there are a couple more though. Unless you meant one downtown.
