8 weeks til I'm back in Phuket for my 3rd visit in as many years. One of the first things I'm gonna do is hit up a food market for some fried chicken and coconut smoothies. Banzaan market is right next door to my hotel. Cheering!!
They deep fry lots of food and lots of nice stalls very clean place fresh healthy fruits and vegetables very healthy foods thank you for sharing Bless you all have a good day, 3-1-19-
Lots of varieties of food! also many interesting! Phuket just perfect place for vacation also for Street food! Love to be there maybe soon!~So many delicious food! Aroy Mak Mak!
You're welcome, thanks for watching Yes, prices have crept up in recent years in Thailand, like everywhere else. I Googled the average wage and the most recent figure is 13,652 baht per month, but I know lots of people earn much less than that. 300 baht for a 10 hour day is still common here.
hi Darren3 ......i am coming back to phuket soon and want to try a lot of the food there , i love hot stuff and sea food , i was there last year and enjoyed every second of it , any tips
Tips .. try everything you can! If you like spicy seafood try "yum woonsen" (Thai seafood salad with glass noodles), it's generally pretty spicy. The Rawai Seafood Market (from my video ruclips.net/video/HvrfUwNZQAA/видео.html) has a great range of seafood and the restaurants there have extensive menus, that's a must visit place! I hope that helps!
Nice one Darren. My daughters couldn't believe you ate the chicken livers to my amusement. They don't know whats good for them. saying that I don't think I could do it. All the best. Greg
am packing lots of toothpicks into my suitcase looks like am gonna need them..going to try deep fried scorpion and spider as well as grubs while there. What kind of fresh milk do they have in thailand as i drink about 6 pints a day. cheers
Milk is available everywhere - supermarkets and 7-11s have it. Cow milk is most common, but soy milk is also popular and I have seen goats milk too. Happy packing :)
wow , i just paid 300 baht for 12 off them online in uk , should have waited till i am there, that,s ok, i will buy more there.and that's cheap for uk prices.
Yes, I'm not sure about that, I have wondered about that myself. They actually empty the raw egg out and mix the contents with a sauce, pepper and stock powder and then put it back into the shell before it is cooked.
Thank you for making this video. How do you prevent getting food poisoning from eating those food items that's been sitting for a while? Also, is it safe to eat salads in the markets since it's assumed they use tap water to clean the veggies...
I'm originally from Australia, so to me, no. There's not much you can buy to eat in Australia for under 100 baht. Prices have gone up everywhere in the world compared to 5 or 10 years ago.
darrenb3 Noticed muslims in the background of your vids and wondered what you were experiencing. I have educated myself on islamic state and sharia law. UGH Knowledge is power. Yes, be very careful now that they have taken this step.
Yes, the area where I live is roughly 50% Muslim and 50% Buddhist. There are a number of different groups who have the means and motivation to potentially have done this, so it's a bit early to start pointing fingers just yet. Hopefully the perpetrators will be caught soon. We're definitely being very mindful of the situation.

I'd imagine all or most of the tourists go to the tourist places. I'd follow the locals, they know where the best places are. 😺
Yes, the locals know the best places :)

Hey Dazz bang for buck and food where is the best area to stay in Phuket?
Hey mate, best to stay away from the tourist areas if that's what you're looking for. Staying in Phuket Town would be my recommendation.
Cheers mate
can't wrap my head round the eggs on a stick! How does the insides not run out while they push the stick through??
Yes, I'm not sure about that, I have wondered about that myself. They actually empty the raw egg out and mix the contents with a sauce, pepper and stock powder and then put it back into the shell before it is cooked.
+darrenb3 I'm definitely going to have to try them when I'm over in December
You won't be disappointed, they're definitely one of my favourite Thai street foods.
I gained ten pounds just by watching your video.......Mate !

Yes, most things start at about 10 baht.
isnt that quite expensive if you consider thailand as a 3rd world country?
I'm originally from Australia, so to me, no. There's not much you can buy to eat in Australia for under 100 baht. Prices have gone up everywhere in the world compared to 5 or 10 years ago.
Haven't watched yet...just wanted to see you were okay after hearing about bombing in Phukat...STAY SAFE!!!
Thanks heaps. Yes, we're all safe and planning on staying that way :)
