Much the same under the Australian Defence Force Act. Scary to think of, because it is an entirely seperate judiciary to the civil judiciary. And not anywhere nearly as nice, forgiving or rehab oriented.
Story 2: Not sure what the laws are in other countries, but here in Australia, laws regarding legal liabilities can sometimes still apply to written off products. In this case, if the written off chocolate bars were given away for free, but caused food poisoning, the company could be on the hook and I doubt that any insurance company would cover that. For the car getting parked in the sun... I live in Phoenix, AZ (aka Hades) and made the mistake years ago of getting a car with leather seats. There is NOTHING worse than sitting on leather seats that have been in direct sunlight. Oh, and the metal of the safety belt clip can give some serious burns. Shade is vital. The best parking isn't what is closest to the door but what is going to still be shaded when you come back to your car, and pot holders are for gear shifts.
@36:50 The 'friend' was probably OP's drug dealer and his stash was damaged by the heat. Only thing that makes sense of 'friend's' choice for escalation or why OP keeps ties with such a person.
No it was just the summer heat of Phoenix. In the summer time in Phoenix it’s like walking in a oven it’s literally that hot here so you can imagine how a car get when it’s parked in the sun. Shade here is very vital.
Roid Rage is DEF a self-worshipping booby bar rent-a-cop. Lmao! Good 4him! It sounds like he got himself another job that he's cognitively unequipped for.
I live in the Southwest and it’s more than just the seats. It’s the door handles. The steering wheel. The seatbelts that give you literal burns. And even if you have air conditioning, parking in the sun means the engine parts have gotten so hot your air doesn’t blow cold for several minutes after turning it on, but you have to keep it running so it can eventually cool, so you are literally blasting furnace-hot air into your car for 5-10 agonizing minutes praying for mercy to come.

Unbelievable that the crazy teacher and principal didn't get fired. They suffered no consequences other than possibly a slap on the wrist. That would've pissed me off to no end and I likely would've gone ahead and released the audio and the principal's actions to the press anyways, which would've put the DoE in a bad light after people realized there were no real repercussions.

For the car in the sun-I lived in Tucson, AZ for a long time. My car was in the shop & was given a loaner w/black leather seats. It was 110 degrees throat day. I wore a skirt the day I picked up the loaner. After work I got in the car to go home. The leather was so hot and burned my legs so badly that the fastest way out of the car was to “fall out” onto the pavement. I had blisters on my legs from how hot the leather was. This is why everyone uses sun shades, carpeted dash covers and parks in the shade. The sun there ruins everything.
Story - Dean with a topping of Charlie. I agree this story was vague yet specific. It wasn't really laid out in a linear fashion. No real A to B, but more like a random jumble about a quarter of the way through to the end. Not going to pile on but wasn't as clear as it could have been.

Last Story - Auntie Butt Orifice Just a little suggestion to others who might be sharing a car. Have a secret switch installed that will disable the car from being started. It could be a simple hidden toggle switch or a switch with a key even a remote. On days you are going to let someone use it, turn it to on when no one's watching. Have it placed so no contortions are needed to reach it. So all your movements inside the car are natural.

For 7, I would say it’s probably true, since multiple times they bring up that others pursued the guys and that a bunch of the revenges were just sort of things that happened because of this while they were also chasing them. Also, only having to report things is a really easy way to get huge impact with little effort, so just reporting a lot of things is perfectly believable.

Road Rage story -- Why didn't OP, as the IT Expert he is, simply advise the accusers to investigate where/who the calls were made to and what phone they were made from? Actually, any manager worth his/her salt would have investigated that before making OP the prime suspect.
Hey, thanks for the videos like this, I drive often and it's great but I just need to comment on that one story where the employee "stole" expired chocolate and you justified the policy. It makes sense for damaged merchandise but not expired merchandise. So the employees are going to "accidentally" make stuff expire? All that policy does is allow billion dollar companies and their million aire CEOs to sue homeless people and employees making 7.25 an hour for essentially dumpster diving
About three years ago was in financial crisis to the point I needed to rely on food banks. Discovered that the largest grocery store in the area donated food about to expire. So grateful for those donations.
Well After listening to a bunch of stories over time curtain themes and keynotes start to appear repetitive cause they are and it's cause they happen all the time. Not every story has a Happy ending but sure thing everyone with one gets told and the stories always play out the same way. The tell of a tall tale is in the details told to the listener. The best Tall tales are always rapped around true events that actually happened but the details were altered for dramatic effect. You might not want to believe it but life is like the night sky and some people just never look at it but only when the full moon shines so they never understand the multitude of the stars, see the meteors shower, or comets pass.
Heat was in the car. In 110 degree weather and in a closed up car what else would be in the car? No one wants to get inside a hot behind car that's been sitting in 110 degree weather, hell you fry yourself just by opening up the door.
So this is the third time ive heard the first video and it just now struck me. why did we keep and ship all that equipment to the U.S. for us to use and save money on needing to manufacture more. I mean the only reason i can think of is greed but.
Um, the car...the car shouldn't be in the sun, not only does prolonged sunlight fade the interior and decrease the value, but in cars with leather seats, that is downright human torture with it being in the sun and god forbid he has any technology in there that shouldn't be in direct sunlight
You can get a Windshield sun protector, which really helps a lot. I find myself having to park in the sun at times during the summer, which gets over 100. It's no fun getting in the car and the seats are hot enough to fry a egg on. 🤷
Story 3 was terrible. Not because of OP or Rob, mind you, but because none of the guilty learned lessons. The beginning has OP declaring himself not anti-feminist and by the end I was left wondering how any reasonable person hearing this story could avoid that perspective.
A student used their teacher's own words to prove that they thought 75% of their students were worthless due to the circumstances of their birth. The only reason this story could be seen as antifeminist is the genders of the student ♂️ snd the teacher ♀️ have the potential for that to be the case. If the story had been reversed, the student ♀️ and the teacher ♂️, it would have been called out for exactly what is is. Sexual discrimination.
