Christmas Music | Joy To The World

"Peace on Earth"
Since 2013, I have dreamed of recording Christmas songs with an Indian flair. Due to my hectic schedule then, I have had to postpone it for some time. At that time, there was a dearth of Indian musicians within reach in the United States. As a result, I sought trained musicians based in India to participate in this endeavor. Eventually, I was able to contact Fr. John Samuel in India, a talented music conductor with an extensive background in both conducting and training Christian choirs and classical Indian music. This music was two years in the making. Together with Fr. John and these talented musicians, we were able to get this project up and running. I would like to take a moment to extend my profound thanks both to Fr. John for his superb work and dedication and the musicians who have contributed to the success of this dream project.
When this very thought was shared with Fr. John Samuel, there was a concern as to how we can articulate certain Indian instruments to western music. Being a Harmonium artist myself, I felt strongly that a Harmonium would add a special tinge to the mix. This is a pilot program I would like to submit to all my music lovers. Merry Christmas!
