These are the type of runners that if you pull up to them in a car & ask them, “do you need a ride” they’ll tell you “no, we’re in a hurry” 😂
🤣It depends, if we are finishing the training, we may take the ride!
Takes a whole lot of discipline and experience to see your boys fly be smart and not push harder to have quality trainings afterwards.
That's right, the discipline and smart training is what hopefully will take us to the Olympics again! 🙏
Luis, when you said that you struggled most at 4k and dropped 20 feet but managed to get back, I feel that you maybe lost the pace but gained mentally because you managed to get back. The fact that you managed to get back would definitely get you that good feeling about it and not give you the worry that you couldn't keep the pace. In my marathon experience ( not as many as you.. but I'm twice your age), that's really important. Marathons are mostly a mental challenge.
Totalmente de acuerdo¡¡es Mental¡
Yeah you are absolutley right!
Vaya entreno!!! Pura crema!!! Envidia (sana) de no haber empezado a correr en la edad en que ustedes empezaron y quizá poder haber corrido a esos ritmos, felicidades!!!
Muchas gracias. Pero ánimo, no hay edad para entrenar duro y disfrutar el proceso! 💪
Vamos Luis. All the ver best for Berlin🔥💪🏾
Thanks!
Bastante inspiradores. Sigan adelante. ¡Ánimo Luis Orta!

Se ve bueno ese recorrido, 🏃♂️💥!!
Está bastante bueno! 🏃♂❤
I'm no expert but anterior pelvic tilt comes to mind, limiting the movement and stride length. Just comparing to those two other guys flying ;).
Totally, is something I am constantly working on and aware that by improving my posture it will benefit my running economy and overall efficiency.
@@ortaluis Hi Luis, it might take more than one marathon training block to fix it but I'm sure you will crush it eventually!

😥@@cesarzoghbi4695
hows your berlin marathon bro?
Bad, DNF.
Alas, I don't think Luis finished the Berlin Marathon.
Yeah, I didn't . check out my IG where I tell the story of what happened.
I was watching Berlin and you looked very tired mid race.
You went with woman lead group but fell behind so i guess you didnt hit time under 2:12
I just checked the results and there’s nothing listed for times beyond 15km for Luis so I’m hoping he’s OK. But it does look like he may have DNF’d.
Yeah I DNF 🤷♂ it happens...
Is it just me? i find luis shoulders very stiff..?
It happens some times 🙏🙏🙏
@@ortaluis its just an observation at your high speed sessions in Kenya. And also a slight back lean
I know what happened to him. TWO WORDS: OVER TRAINING
Thanks for the feedback, I felt grate during training. But maybe you are right I still have to figure it out with my coach. 🙏
@@ortaluis I have watched your build up for a while. I didn't Wanna butt in coz I'm not the professional one here. But some of those easy runs you ran at a very high pace. And you seemed to struggle a lot during 1k repeats. Showed you were going all out. Hey, there's always another chance. Maybe you try run Chicago
I hope you take some time to reflect after your Berlin marathon performance. You have such a smug attitude in your videos, constantly talking down to other runners who have less fitness than you, and being a total narcissist. Please don’t make excuses and own up to what happened. I hope you continue to improve and reach all yours goals, but this time with a clearer head. Much love.
Thanks so much for the feedback. You can check my IG where I tell the story of why I DNF. Much love to you too.
