Of course there weren't rumors about Jessamin Redfort. People don't get excited about speculating that an actor is playing a minor character. There were actresses rumored to be cast or spotted on the set who were speculated to be playing Jeyne Arryn. One of them could actually be playing Jessamin Redfort.
I'm a bit disappointed because I was hoping that Millie Brady would be Jeyne Arren, She played Athelflaed the Lady of the Mercians in the Last Kingdom and she was really good as her, I thought she would get that role.
Given the show's willingness to make characters gay who weren't noted to be in the books, I'll go out on a limb and say that a character who actually is rumored to be gay will be portrayed as such as opposed to being straight. I'm not criticizing; just making an educated guess based on the show's own precedent. Speaking of precedent... I'm not going to get pumped for Rhaena to have more to do until I actually see her scenes in episodes. Last season when there were more episodes, Rhaena and Baela's only scenes of consequence were amongst the first scrapped for time cuts (did Rhaena even have a single speaking line?); and now that there's going to be even more of a time crunch due to fewer episodes, I don't have faith that Rhaena won't be first on the chopping block again if she wasn't important enough to develop in the first place when there was more time. I hope I'm wrong because Rhaena's a fun character, but I need her scenes to actually make it to air before I get excited about anything. Overall this is good casting news though and I look forward to seeing Jeyne in the show :) .
basically I was worried we'd only seen Jeyne in episode 1, but I saw this sheet from a mid-season episode showing Rhaena arriving at the Eyrie and being received by Jeyne. So both are recurring across the entire season with their own subplot.
@@thedragondemands5186 I’ve heard a bunch of interviews from the cast members. They don’t know if Rhaenyra and Alicent are gay. They know they were close and wanted to remain so. Perhaps one or the other wanted more. But they were both too young to make up their minds about how they felt about the other.
actors *act*?? no way! you're just trolling now! seriously, though, re the question of female rulers on GOT: it's also perhaps worth noting that pretty much all female rulers on the series were bad, w/ the possible exception of sansa. also, good news about addam!
I assume Jess Redfort will be in season 2 and be her companion as well plus she can be bisexual and like men sexually but not want to be in a relationship with them. We will see where the show will go with this
I'm pretty sure Jeyne being voracious with men was just Mushroom fantasizing... and either way, she certainly did not ask her 16 year old cousin to go down on her.
Keep up the excellent work. The fandom appreciates your insight.
Amanda is utterly fantastic, can’t wait to see her on HotD ❤
She is absolutely great, i was sad when they canceled that series, her co star was amazing too...
Her co star also got casted for season 2

I know, so did I. Maybe she's Jess Redfort?
Now that's two actors from Raised by Wolves. And it's the two leads to boot.
Heck they should just go ahead and add Travis Fimmel from Raised By Wolves as well.
I’m sorry he’s unavailable: can we use his Mexican non-union equivalent?
@@thedragondemands5186 when the strike needs of course.😂
Another solid Danish addition to GoT-universe!
She’s such a great actress! I think she’ll do an excellent job!
I didn't watch Raised by Wolves ,but looking forward to seeing her in season 2
You should it. It's fantastic. Cancelled way too soon.
Is Creegan Stark cast yet?
He seems like a interesting character and plus he is a Stark which is a big deal!
No leaks yet: see video yesterday on Wall set
About time 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Joffrey will go with her? I know that this is how it happens in the book, but did they include it in the sheet you saw?
test dialogue for Jeyne

well they didn't "make" make Rhaenyra and Alicent gay, not like, overtly.

@@thedragondemands5186 Rhaenyra is obviously not gay in the show. She can only be bisexual or straight.

Any update on cregan stark casting

.....So if a woman has sex with another woman she must be a "voracious bisexual"?
@thedragondemands5186 she could be both it was never stated for certain that she was a lesbian only and preferred women as sexual partners.

Doesn't her dragon hatch at the Earie Morning
It's not a Valerian name
Did Dumb an Dumber read the books
they’re not attached to House of the Dragon in anyway
