How can you be mad at a child for saying a bad word, where do you think they learned it, be mad at yourself for teaching them it.
I mean it's very possible they didn't teach them it and they learned it from someone else.

If he learned it from his dad…..or the thousand other places kids have access to these days….he should still be reprimanded. I let a curse slip around my kids, but i make sure to tell them it was a bad word, I apologize for using it, and tell them not to repeat it. But this kid looked like he was in full character at the time and copying things his dad had said. Just my opinion.

My best friend was in high school, I was at home home schooled but my loser mother didn't give me any work to do, no studies, no assignments, nothing...I was barely 16 and it was 1992. My best friends ex asked me to hang out. I said I gotta be home by 5pm before my mother. We didnt make it. It was a huge deal. The next day my best friend said I talked to Nick and he said you were hanging out thats where you were. I said damn it! I told him not to say anything! She said, I' just kidding, I didn't talk to him but now I know the truth! I got pregnant from that one-time hang out.
