When people ask me if I would want to go back to my twenties, I tell them I would rather go back to my thirties.
Like you I dated a man much older than me (14 years) in my early 20’s, we just weren’t on the same page, he wanted to settle down & start a family straight away (because that’s where he was in life) & I didn’t even know if I wanted children (turns out I definitely did not want them), I was also far more interested in having fun & exploring who I am & what I really wanted. Now I’m in my mid 40’s & completely comfortable with my age & who I am. I’m so grateful I didn’t cave to his pressure & marry him like he wanted, I would have ended up divorced & co-parenting with someone who doesn’t even begin to align with my values.

As an indian. Here things are different from US. Here people respect elderly woman more. We are not perfect but men don't treat woman as a trash because they are in their 30's.

I grew up with my parents placing a lot of the responsibility for caring for my siblings on me. I just turned 22 and I am living alone for the first time and because I have spent so many years compromising my wants for my family I know exactly what I want. I am excited to get older because as a young woman people keep telling me that I don't know what I want, that I am not old enough to know for sure. They keep telling me about my "biological purpose" as a woman and it's the exact sh!t that made me hate becoming a woman when I was a kid. Nobody gets to tell me how to be a woman. It's honestly gotten to the point where I am afraid to be tied to a man in any way. I'm only close to the men in my family and that is as willing as I am to be close to any man. I will probably remain celibate for the rest of my life and I am ok with that.
Honestly who cares what any of them think. Women please continue to take care of yourselves - earn those degrees, start those businesses, and fly high in your careers! Leave these men in the streets alone and live a peaceful life! I love my sisters. 💝💖✨😊

This is all a control tactic and women should not fall for it.
I think I know why. And it is not all women over 30. This is mostly for women who expended their 20s in short-term relationships with fun or fck boys. The whole issue for those men is that after girls do that, then they want to go and find a good man. Meaning, that they now want to settle for the second place after the first place rejected them. Even when I do not agree entirely with this argument, I did notice when I was younger that being a good man meant nothing for young girls as they would always prefer the cooler but unreliable guys. This is worrisome as this tells guys that there is no benefit in being good. Later in life, girls in their 30s realize that they have to change their method of selection if they want kids and stability. But for men, these actions look like an act of convenience instead of an act of awareness. And that's where the dislike comes from.
Its a response to hook-up culture. A lot of women who enter their 30 and haven’t been in a single long-term relationship are very creepy.
Now their are the men who just hate women and see 30 year olds as “used up”
You also have to remember that a-lot of these men are 17-22 and to them 30 is very old and a completely different stage of life
Different people will say things for different reasons Andrew Tate for example says it because he thinks 30 year old women are past their prime.
My brother said it in high school because he was 15 and 30 was double his age.
It doesn't matter what decade thecage gap is, they still try to manipulate women. It's an innate thing, I don't think they can help themselves.
Have they talked to any women in their early 20s? These days they're either narcissistic and entitled or so wrought with anxiety they don't drive, talk on the phone, and their boyfriends wind up their full time caregiver and therapist.
Our father told our sister fo stick to a man her age, be willing to build, if she chases a career do it to support her family or marriage instead of self fulfillment or herself, give him gifts, plan dates for him, and understand he's going to clean and put things away his way- her way doesn't need to be the only way. She's been happily married going on 20 years and her friends that have done the opposite, weeellll....
Idk I am married to a successful physically perfect man and his whole life all his exes are his age or older. He’s highly attractive and a gentlemen and wealthy and intelligent. He’s grossed out by younger women. I’m 28 and he thinks it’s weird because he’s 40.

That's an exaggeration, men's T levels can be at a reasonable level in their 50s if they eat properly. You have men with good muscle at 40 and 50 without TRT or steroids. Your T levels are of course going to be high from age 13 to 21, that's when you're rapidly growing lol
These men claiming that they don't like women in their thirties are doing this as a shaming tactic to get women,especially the younger ones to lower their standards for these no value men.

Why would a young woman in her prime want a man past his prime, when she can have a young and healthy and s3xy man with a 6 pack and tight skin and a full head of hair and enough energy to keep up with her?

I've seen many men who say "i will never date an older woman " turn around and marry an older woman.

I am 60 and having been there, done that I can tell you that your 30s are the best years of your life. You are still young physically but mentally you know who you are, what you want and you don’t take the bs or let people push you around like you did in your 20s and teens. I think this is what terrifies the types of men who are appearing in these ridiculous videos. Take a good look and them, hear what they say and then ask yourself, would you honestly throw yourself away on pathetic specimens like that? Of course not, you deserve better. By all means look after your skin but do it for yourself.

Great video but it was so surprising to me I had no idea that society hates women in their thirties oh my goodness so women in their seventies should drop dead 🙀 I loved my thirties I loved my forties , fifties , sixties & now seventies it is a privilege & blessings to grow old the alternative is death. For health reasons I can’t have botox or any injections but I take very good care of my skin & I use home devises I am flattered when anyone discover my age & ask me if I had facelift which I didn’t . I wanted to age gracefully I wanted to look at the mirror & recognize myself . Age is just a number I have seen & known women in their twenties look & act old because they are very unhappy & unsatisfied with their lives. My advice forget the numbers forget what society thinks or says just enjoy every moment of your life . Merry Christmas ❤️🎄

I think this goes back to old times when people died in their thirties and they needed to have ten or more kids because only a few would reach adulthood. And if you are a woman of that age she’s been producing kids one or more a year since 12 and by then her baby maker is done.

I'm a new subscriber in my 50's and never heard of this. My thoughts ....men could be half right. The half right is women in their 30s seem very angry, depressed, man-hating because of previous relationships and possibly too liberal. None of the men I know or work with seem to want a woman in her 30s with procedures done. If a man thinks your throwaway in your 30s...move on he's not for you. JMO🤷♀️

Interesting. As a 36 year old married man I can't see myself being with another woman again, especially not over 5 years younger. You said it right: you change so much between your 20's and 30's and people in their 20's are full of plans and figuring out their lives. When it comes to relationships I think it's best to stay within your own age and intellect ranges, maybe even your cultural range (which means likewise values, not skin color).
Me and my wife had and have hardships, being together for almost 18 years. But we know each other well and we respect each other for our goods and bads. My wife is very insecure about getting older and "less attrective", while I really don't care - which is turned into a problem when she makes an effort and I don't notice.
I chose my wife based on how she didn't care about the way she looked when she was young. She would go to the mall without make up, in her jogging pants.
