Truly a Snorisa Moment. It’s sad because it feels like fun in Overwatch is illegal. You want to play rein, ramattra, maybe some Genji. But bastion, Orisa, and zarya (not gonna start on supports) just say no. Snorisa literally has grown inside Overwatch like a cancerous tumor. That wouldn't never be done bcs omnics are a lore faction, not a class in the actual game. But I do think he needs to be given a "battle hardened" passive that makes him gain armor when attacking and gives him cc/debuff reduction when he has armor

@liundeirkil8706 can't push? I dunno, man. When I play her I can just push a button, spin my javelin, and walk forward pushing everyone back like it's nothing. And then I can gold and make getting punished impossible. As someone who likes Orisa, at least on paper, she definitely is busted even in that regard
@@wyattwilbourne530 it is insane to me that they gave the most cc to the only tank with cc immunity (that is also braindead easy and practically unkillable). her weakness is supposed to be lack of mobility but that doesn't matter when all you do on tank is sit on the front line and wait to punish the enemy tank for doing anything.
Her kit does have weaknesses, low burst damage and mobility which are some of the most fun/rewarding parts of hero kits while she excels at tankiness and cc which are the most boring parts of the game. Truly a fundamentally awfully designed character
Don't you love how with one ammo clip of bastions turret form is more than enough to not only melt reins shield from full health but also his whole health bar on top of that
Orisa when it has a lot of HP/Armor, ranged, has an anti stun/no more die move, a move to basically cancel most moves/ults in existence, has the “no more projectiles 4 u” move, and stops anyone from hurting the bastion, and wins: ez
I feel like Orisa's javelin should be an ability that you'd have to hold and charge up for a brief period like doomfist's punch (but not for as long as a DF punch). At low charge levels it should have vastly reduced knockback, damage and stun duration (should be even less than Brig's rally stun, only useful for canceling ults and so on). At full charge it would have the same properties as it currently does. Maybe give full chagre javelin a small bleed DoT like JQ but without the heals and very slightly increased knockback to compensate for having to charge it up. Oh, and javelin spin should be affected by the tank passive. She should not be able to push tanks around as well as she currently is able to. Not holding my breath for any meaningful changes though. OW balance team seems to love keeping easy and braindead heroes powerful and effective at almost every level of play.
you see the strat to counter lifeweaver and other get out of jail free card supports (bap, kiriko) is to first nano rein, he charges in and makes them use cool downs then you nano genji blade and kill, simple really
Whether or not her stats are "healthy" by Blizz standards its pretty obvious that playing ANY tank besides Sigma or mirror against Orisa is a not so fun experience so im suprised she hasnt been tweaked (significantly) in a while.
You can add zarya to that list aswell but i get your point, monkey would usually be up there aswell if he didnt get totally fucked by meta picks other than orisa

The fact that you can counter orisa with zarya has nothing to do with how awfully designed orisa is. Her skill ceiling is very low mechanically and game sense wise and her kit is very unrewarding to play and play against.

I think rein should have a passive that makes him take 15% less damage from omnics so he can't get destroyed by bastion, orisa, zen, echo.
