    Agree with everyone here. This is an excellent series and anything Stimming has shared has been valuable to learn.

    Amazing. Thanks for this series, one of the best things I've seen on RUclips.
    The tracks are really great. It's sobering to see how little they made even with the promotion of these videos.
    Stimming is such an engaging presenter. Would like to see more like this in the future!

    I could watch videos with stimming explaining things for ages. Such a nice approach - enthusiams and knowledge is insanely good (i wish some of my lecturers had similar qualities in their topic).
    Big up for this series 💚

    Gerne mehr von dir ! Macht Spaß zu schauen und ist sehr informativ. Zudem konnte ich dadurch viele Basics mitnehmen. Vor allem die Shaker aus dem Haushalt 😍😄

    I enjoyed this as well. What I like Martin is also how you do not seem to be biased when mentioning gadgets or services, but just giving your own view and professional opinion. In the end, I believe this helps us to reflect and make our own and hopefully good decisions! Thanks - brian

    I really like how you put it: The label pays us for the PRIVILEGE of publishing our music.
    I know I feel more like it's a privilege to even get my music listened to, let alone published. (Which hasn't yet happened)
    That's kinda the whole base of how everything is all fucked up with the music industry.

    • @zeus1117
      @zeus1117 Год назад

      It's already dead. Kids nowadays don't even understand the concept of buying a song. Just streaming, one time listening to a song is enough as well.

    Basically, putting out music without a clever promo idea or network to draw from is just another grain in the desert sand.

    • @ElectronicBeatsTV
      @ElectronicBeatsTV  2 года назад +3

      Even with a clever promo idea and a network it isn’t much more in a lot of cases.

      Even with all out approach, you won't pay the bills from production. Especially when you are not catering to the mainstream ears. Money makers are the gigs and festivals only.

    So the next video is going to be about how to do the promotion of music? :) I've seen some services which does the work for you (e.g. sending tracks to labels and/or dj's, but which one to choose.. or is there an alternative?)

  • @Peat030

    Irgendwie bekloppt das man Musik nicht direkt auf streaming Plattformen hochladen kann.

    but what to do for musicians who do not have listeners yet?

    • @zeus1117
      @zeus1117 Год назад

      No chance. DJ or gig. From production nobody can buy food.

    also mal zum mitschreiben: nächtelange arbeit an den tracks? 500 euro equipment, 80 euro gema? 8 euro digitaler vertrieb bei landr? (mastering kost extra, nichtwar?). promo über den channel hier? und zum schluss sinds 18€ verdienst? nach knapp nem jahr? ohne dj gigs oder auftritte wird da keiner reich ;)
    also: weitermachen und spass haben

    • @ElectronicBeatsTV

      Masteringkosten sind in der Masteringfolge zu hören 😉

    So 500 euro investment and 2 tracks gives you 200 euro but the assets are there so you can continue and use them forever. You just have to put out more tracks to make profit.

    Sehr interessantes Video und danke (das meine ich ehrlich) dass du das böse und nervige Wort mit C nicht erwähnt hast. Ich bin so müde davon , ständig und überall das C-Wort zu hören.

    I don't really understand the whole GEMA thing. You pay a fee to get it and then they randomly give you payments *if* your stuff is played somehow? Sounds like a big gamble if you're not really established as an artist.

    • @ElectronicBeatsTV
      @ElectronicBeatsTV  2 года назад +1

      You pay a yearly member fee. If your music doesn’t sell or isn’t played a lot it doesn’t make much sense as GEMA money is not coming out of nowhere and is linked to sales, radio plays, TV, RUclips etc.

    • @zeus1117
      @zeus1117 Год назад

      GEMA is the reason many german clubs closed for good. Fees of DJs playing songs were ridiculous.
