God always rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Blessings to you! “Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yes, our God is compassionate. The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.” Psalm 116:5-6
You’re welcome to sell everything you have, give it to your church, and live in community with all your brothers and sisters. That’s what they did. Personally, I think our economy and culture is far too different than the 1st Century Greco-Roman world to do that, so I’ll stick with tithing.
@@thechasethompson Paul was a tremendous expository teacher. In all of his discourse, he never mentioned tithing. He would not have left it out. If you desire to obey the Law, make sure you do it all. But, then, just obeying the letter of the law doesn’t quite cut it either, does it? Jesus sort of took that down in Matthew 5-7. He let us know that God’s standard is perfection. He’s THE Way. I believe that we’re free to give 10% and call it a tithe if we want to. Honoring and trusting God are wonderful. However, if we do it because of Malachi, we have a problem.
God bless, pastor. Agood message.
We can't out give God!! He is so good to us!❤
"You don't tithe because you can afford it. You tithe because God commands it."
Confess your faults one to another. I need help in this area. Please pray for me. I work multiple jobs, money is tight right now. Sorry to to the Lord

So fascinating that the apostles didn’t teach this message.
