COC is undeniable period.its sad that this was Reed Mullins swan song his playing will be missed.his unpredictable drumming was detrimental to their sound...rest in peace legend....
One of the best live bands ever! Saw them in 1996 opening up for load era metallica and I like metallica but pepper and the boys blew them away that night!!!
Early 1997 Mellon arena, Pittsburgh Pa. Started show with “king of the rotten”. Lots of Pittsburghers learned who they were, that night. Been a fan since “Blind”.
That Pepper Keenan/Woody Weatherman guitar harmony is as signature as anything Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson ever did with Thin Lizzy. Leaves me wanting more....
About fucking time! I got to spend a day with Pepper years back. Really genuine kind fellow, with a hell of a humor. I was buddy's with a childhood friend of his. Not that any of this matters. I'm just glad for now Corrosion!
ThePhilVideos it was pretty much like that. Except at my buddy's place. He's passed on now, but I'll always remember it. Pepper never once gave a 'snobby rockstar' vibe. Just funny as hell, really. We had a few shots of vodka, and chilled for a bit. He was on his way through touring with DOWN at the time I think.
kulticrown Vaan You're one of the few people on youtube making these claims that I actually believe. I ran into Pantera's bodyguard and limo driver at a carwash in Waxahachie, TX in '01. He came over and wanted to check out my stereo system, then he showed me the one in the limo. That's how we met. That's when he told me that it was Pantera's limo (My all time favorite band). I asked if I could check out the inside and he said yeah, but excuse the mess-COC had borrowed it the night before and it was trashed. It was!!! I got a thrill out of it because COC has always been one of my favorite bands too. I got some whiskey bottles and a bunch of promo stuff off the floor as souveneirs. Anyway, not as cool as your story but it was cool.
Saw them Mardi Gras March 1 Southpark Music Hall in New Orkeans.Best band performance I've ever seen.Third time I saw them play.Never sounded this awesome.Crowbar kicked ass as well.
Take my money, then take more at the merch stand! Sold. Sounds great, as expected. The true Sabbath disciples. Love the album cover too. Eye-catching, retro-ish, and simplistic.
Those riffs and that tone....AHH FUCK YEAH!!! The band sounds ferocious, and the songwriting is on point. January is going to be heavy. When they drop this album, there's going to be a crater. \m/
Blind was the album that got me into COC. They have never topped it. I love Pepper, but Karl Agell voice was perfect for those songs. Wished they would have continued with that lineup.
THANK GOD FOR PEPPER KEENAN. I love all forms of COC having been a fan since '85 - "ANIMOSITY" , but believe me when I say "THANK GOD FOR PEPPER KEENAN." - Jason MOTÖRHEAD McVey.
True souls, you have to give them respect. I will buy because they deserve the support. Wow it is about time some fucking band has the balls to let it rip.

I remember that tour as well.....first concert I ever went to, and COC definitely took the show. Kemper Arena in Kansas City.
Early 1997 Mellon arena, Pittsburgh Pa. Started show with “king of the rotten”. Lots of Pittsburghers learned who they were, that night. Been a fan since “Blind”.

Saw them on that tour as well, awesome night!! 🔥
That Pepper Keenan/Woody Weatherman guitar harmony is as signature as anything Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson ever did with Thin Lizzy. Leaves me wanting more....
your enthusiasm is infectious. i've always loved the post-coc.
Oh I'd say they are like a cross between Gorham/Roberston and Collins/Rossington from Skynyrd.
Fuck no thin Lizzy is legend
I like what Pepper and Woody do, but Gorham/Robertson was different.
@@elduce7166 Sprinkled with some Iommi , Gibbons, and Hetfield .
For me french (ive 54years old) was COC à LEGEND à MYTHE (Old school) the HC GOD..
