krjackson226 did you ever figure it out? I’m confused with the directions that came with it. It has a big “no” and “yes” picture but I can’t tell what it’s saying no & yes about. Are we not suppose to remove the foam from the plastic?
@@LindsayRappinsert the red long thin stick into the small black plastic thing that has the styrofoam, then on the gray long tube, put the cap that has drain slots, then insert the red stick with the styrofoam inside, the red stick will come out of the opposite side where there’s no plug, then you’ll insert the transparent plastic on top of it so that the red stick sticks out and that’s it
Please update this video to provide more detailed instruction on how to assemble the water level indicator! There are multiple parts; no instruction how to put them together. From reading the comments, I'm not the only one with this problem.
On the water level indicator, there is a big “No” & “Yes” on the directional pictures but I can’t tell what it means? Are we not suppose to remove the white foam from the water level indicator or something?
I emailed the company because I had this exact question. Their response: Dear Sarah, This box is indicating that the styrofoam is not to be removed from the bell, as this allows the water level indicator stick to float when water is in the reservoir area.
I live in California. We do not have much rain here. I got a few of these planters. I use them outside. I unscrewed the bottom and water just went through to the ground. There is no way I can fill the reservoir with water. I was told to take the screw of the bottom and leave the other one (the insert) intact. Should I keep the plugin on the outside and take out the inside?
