Replacing A Ford Connect Rear Bumper

In this video, I replace a worn and tired looking rear bumper on this Ford Connect mIcro campervan conversion (See link below for items used). The rear bumpers on the Ford Connects are quite prone to rusting and can be damaged easily, as is the case with the bumper on this Ford Connect micro campervan. The rear bumper is easy to remove and replace with just 2 securing nuts needing to be removed and replaced with the new bumper. Once the new bumper is fitted, it bring a nice fresh new look to the rear of the Ford Connect micro campervan and means I can crack on with the rest of the bodywork in future videos.

I was readying the reviews on the bumper you recommended on eBay all reviews say it dose not fit holes don’t line up etc just wanted to no if you had any issues with it if you had to heat it up to see mould it etc thanks

Mate I've just tried putting 2 brand new end covers on mine, broke all the clips pissed me right off but yeah need some more ha

yeah the end covers are pretty crap, I screwed mine in as the clips were crap

Not quite as easy if your van has a towbar fitted as mine has, the towbar mounting points virtually cover the bolt holes for the bumper, I gave up trying to remove the bumper and just ground it back to bare metal and painted it and fitted new plastics, looks quite good now.
