I first found michael earlier in the 1980s, and was blown away from the start. the first time I got to see him live was in nyc at the bottom line. I took several of my guitarist friends to the show, and our table (about 10' from the stage) was electric to say the least. the table was filled with open mouths of awe..... never missed an opportunity to see him live and was graced to see several more shows across the country. amazing individual.....

thanks for reupload this to youtube . it was out there like 5 years ago. great recording just noticed this show is exactly 34 years ago today, nice touch😉
Hi Adi. i just found this recording a few weeks ago, just in time for the 34th anniversary of this historic concert, 18 Nov 1989.😉 Two more 34th anniversaries: 9 Nov 1989, East German officials open the Berlin Wall (constructed by the Soviet Union) allowing travel from East to West Berlin. The following day, celebrating Germans began to tear the wall down. On 21 Nov 1989, CSN perform in front of the Brandenburg Gate; including the new CSN song "Chippin' Away" 🥰 🎥 ruclips.net/video/-UMMJ_JNWAY/видео.html
@@laura.sefchik yeah it was out there and was taken down . I remember because he was tuned half step down on his guitar most of the concert, and aerial boundaries just blew my mind , i actually have a cover of AB tuned half step down because of this version.

@@AdiHazan26 "One of the main reasons that guitarists choose to tune down a half step is that it allows them to use heavier gauge guitar strings." "Tuning down a 1/2 step can be useful for many reasons. It can switch a song to a more desirable key for a singer. It also can change the tension of the strings and thus the tone of the guitar. As a result, you may find that you will need to tune down to be able to play along with the original recording of a song." "By lowering the pitch of each string by one semitone, you can achieve a darker and warmer tone, easier playability, and accommodate a singer's vocal range." 🕊
