Took my JLU Rubicon to Rausch Creek

- My daughter and I went with some good friends up to Rausch Creek. It's the first time for my JLU Rubicon but not my first time going to Rausch. Paul was there in his white JKU Rubicon. The two first timers were Ricky in his black JKU Rubicon and Rob in his Silver JKU Sport. We did all green trails this time (Trails A, C, E, H, 11 and 14). I used the Maplets app with the Rausch map and it worked great!

In Jeep shots were filmed on my GoPro Hero 7 Black, handheld were using my GoPro Hero 5 Black. My daughter used her Canon G7X

Thanks! I appreciate it! Yeah all I did was nick the rim but it sounded so much worse. LOL! This was my 4th time there. Took my 2011 up there three times and had a blast. Couldn't wait to get this one up there and it did not disappoint. Really want to try some harder trails with it next time.

I have one for my other Jeep for Trail 11. Wasn't sure if I could get one again but it goes by VIN so I'm getting one for this Jeep as well. Just need to get back up there to do Crawler Ridge and Crawl Daddy.
What setting are you using on the go pros?
The interior shots were on the GoPro7 Black 2.7K/30 fps, wide FOV, White Balance 5500K, 100 iso min, 400 iso max GoPro Color and an ND16 filter. My exterior shots were on my GoPro5 Black all same settings as the 7 but with an ND8 filter.
@@htweelz the interior shot look great. The Go Pro suck in low light and looks muddy....but yours looks great.... gonna steal those settings. Thank you
@@BanginGearsGarage Thanks! I was also trying out a new headrest mount that worked really well. I'm going to do a short video on that as well.
I saw a video where some one revealed what GoPro uses for their settings when they make their commercials and these were pretty much the settings. The ND filters really help a lot with adjustments to the white balance to get the right color. I usually don't do any post production color grading unless I feel the clip needs it and I didn't do it to any of the clips in this video.

Thanks! The black Jeep was still stock with 33's on it. It didn't have the same ground clearance as the rest of us.

I noticed almost all of them rattling while going over stuff. Including that brand new JL. I'm guessing that's a "Jeep thing"?
We all have manual transmissions and they all make that noise. I'm not sure what makes that sound. Not sure if it is part of the clutch or what. So it wasn't really a rattle from anything loose etc.

I really want to get the manual, but I want remote start. Just gotta decide which one I want more. LOL

@@philharris4504 I really like the manual but that's just my preference. I've always had a manual vehicle of some sort. My other Jeep was manual as well and I have a 2001 Mustang that's a manual.

Yeah I had a Sport before and I loved it. Since I was getting a new one I figured I'd get a Rubicon since I was doing more wheeling. What is wrong with comparing the two since I've owned both?
