We've had a lot of cancer in my family, mostly on my beloved Dad's side. It's rough going & I wish The King healing & a long reign. Good to see him out & about 🇺🇲❤️🇬🇧
The King has inherited his late mother's sense of duty. With a diagnosis of cancer, he could have taken a year away from public appearances and few would criticize. However, his commitment has brought him back to work. And yes, his sense of compassion has amplified.
The King seemed to enjoy speaking to people who could relate to what he was going through. I think he gained as much from the patients as they did him. Therapy for all 😊
I'm American and I got teary eyed to see King Charles out and about. He's not going to let this get him down and I totally believe "What's in your mind is in your life". I suspect Princess Catherine is doing the same thing, she will not be a victim of a horrible disease because she's seeing herself winning this war against it.
Yes I admit I shed a few tears seeing the great rapport between the King and the patients, all sharing a similar experience. Cancer does not discriminate.
King Charles is impressive. At 75 he's doing his job when a lot of men would be hanging a 'Gone Fishing' sign on the door. I truly believe his mother was the monarch her time needed and the King is the monarch this time needs. Long live King Charles!
I would have agreed if he had put Harry’s titles in abeyance, he s not doing what is right by the country & Commonwealth allowing the Harkles to destroy the commonwealth the late Queens pride & joy
Well said! I completely agree. You know, he's been fishing for 70 years (metaphorically speaking); he's ready and happy to do the job he's been waiting his whole life for.
@@MagicCityGirlHe was not 'waiting', he has been working and busy all these years! Not gone fishing but focused on issues the world is only now waking up to! No one waits for their mother to die, he had a job and a tight schedule!
I think King Charles looked wonderful. It was lovely seeing him chatting to cancer patients and being able to empathise with them. God bless you King Charles and Queen Camilla.
I hate cancer, it’s awful. It stole my father in 2020 after they told him he was “cancer free,” I guess they forgot to check his brain. I miss you, Dad. 😞
How wonderful that HMTK returned to service at a hospital given his diagnosis. I give him a lot of credit for sharing what he's going through with the public.
It was good to see King Charles in public today and to visit with cancer patients and their family member. It was moving to see him interacting with the children. If the tie is from his grandson, it is a sign also of his love of his grandson.
Loved seeing KC wear his mauve T-Rex tie, a gift from one of his Wales' grandchildren. A loving gesture, from a loving Grandfather, to bring happiness to W & C's family during what must be a difficult time for them. Bravo KC 👏👏❤
Looking forward to the state visit to the Uk of the Emperor and Empress of Japan in June . Its very exciting . The King is doing his best under very difficult circumstances and Queen Camilla is supporting him Admirably.
King Charles always gives his full attention to whoever he is speaking to. His interaction is genuine. King Charles has had a long road, growing up in great scrutiny, under the rules of a different time. Glad he has a strong supportive wife and William and family.
We are seeing the Real Charles who never got to show us his real self always overshadowed by shiny objects! Congratulations Your Majesty! Having ❤ is everything to humanity x
@@jasperhorace7147I know the UK did not like the Crown on Netflix but I do believe they portrayed Queen Camilla very accurately ie wise calm and dished out commonsense parenting to support Charles x I do admire her values x
I thought, under the circumstances, King Charles looks well. And Camilla looked lovely...I think Charles does worry more than we think, about public opinion. He looked genuinly happy
I think it's been a long hard road for him in many ways - King Charles has shown that by hanging in there he has the respect he probably thought he had lost some time ago 👏💂
US news covered King Charles returning to his royal duties. I think he looked great - after chemo - he would look a little pale and thinner. But, he did look happy! How sweet that he wore the tie that his eldest grandchild gave him. I'm very touched by that - and Prince George must have been thrilled when he was shown his grandfather was wearing the tie he gave him.
King Charles is admirable. He maintains the ‘ majesty’ of the monarchy, yet brings a modern ability to interact more personably with the public. He is bringing his own unique outlook to his role.
Thank You Neil. 👋👋👋🦘🦘🦘. King Charles is very impressive indeed. I know what it's like to go through cancer treatment. Long live King Charles and Queen Camilla. A full recovery to you Charles and Catherine, Princess of Wales. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I hope King Charles does rest up and not push himself too hard. His body is fighting the cancer and having to cope with the treatment which can be brutal. I think Queen Camilla will keep him from overdoing things! 🤗🇬🇧🌹
So happy to see King Charles out and about. It requires a great deal of strength to put aside your pain and give strength and encouragement to others. Good wishes and prayers for His Majesty's full recovery. Notice how it also distracts speculations about Princess Catherine. What a great man and a wonderful, supportive father in law!

So proud of our beloved King Charles and Queen Camilla. I think he looked happy, dapper, and thrilled to be out doing his royal duties again. Makes me so proud to be British.
❤ such a sweet thing for the King to do; he looked quite handsome in his tie! I'm glad King Charles has decided to be more "human" and relax some of the old policies and protocols. I'm sure the patients much appreciated the visit and it seemed to uplift them.
I am not a big crier (cryer.) but I was moved by this visit. I know that there is still worry for his own health, but being so intimate with others that are undergoing the same battle, hopefully was uplifting and inspiring for him as well as those he met.
I think the fact he is going through it at the same time is why it resonated and why the patients were so touched. This was really a wonderful thing to do.
Oh Neil a lovely report , my nephew in UK has cancer he is young and really battling and sick with the treatment I hope he watched the King and it gave him hope .

King Charles looked really well and I am so pleased for him and his family. Having experienced the death of my own beloved husband from cancer, it is great to see our king becoming stronger.
This visit made King Charles a very real compassionate brave man who obviously looked good but wasn't on top of the world himself, the good he did for those brave patients and also lifting his own spirits as they are going through it together. Wishing Charles Catherine Furgie and all cancer suffers a good recovery ❤
King Charles is doing exactly what he waited so long for. One has to admire his resilience as treatment is so harsh on some people, but meeting the public is very important to him, so prayers that he will be able to continue, growing stronger every day.
