Happy Saturday and man another big truck one of my favorite subjects in the plastic line up can't wait to see what it will look like built thank you have a great day
Hi, Really nice truck, the cabin looks beautiful, I like that the windshield wipers are not molded in👍🏻. I'm building the Kenworth Alaskan hauler, I really enjoy it, I rebuilt the moose catcher and the headache rack with expanded mesh and got some new chains from Michaels (I wanted to share my photos on fb but it looks like I can't post). The parts are not numbered on the Alaskan's sprues but on the back of the box🙄 (I printed a photo of it. Why don't they print it? it would not be that expensive). I split and numbered the sprues as displayed, it's way easier to find the parts. I'm new to trucks and I really like it, as you said, it's challenging but mostly because of the questionable instructions and also the flash on the parts. I was tempted, next, to get the White freightliner and its infamous roof but it's not easy to find the Archer rivets and quite pricey, I might get this one instead. Thank you so much for the review and good continuation👋🏻
I learned how to drive a semi in a Peterbilt Cabover. As a young diesel mechanic I loved the Cabover design. They were easy to drive, great turning radius, and easy to really get under the trailer. Ive built more than one of the cabovers (including BJ and Bears Kenworth) out of nostalgia. Really cool kit
A lot of these kits that are rereleased the tooling is from the 70s or even the 60s so the flash is sometimes a pain. But we are lucky to be getting these kits back instead of paying $200 for them on eBay
@@shawntripp9380 oh yeah, I agree, and I suppose the molds they use or have, have gotten plenty of “miles” on em and probably are in good shape considering how old and how worn they are, plus I suspect that retooling a halfway decent mold isn’t very cost effective,as long as the kits are acceptable and not just covered in flash and losing detail then it’s fine I suppose, but I’ve gotten some sprues that didn’t have a number or letter or anything on em,I just had to guess and process of elimination for the parts
@@Swellington_ i feel the same way. I’m building AMTs 1934 ford pick up right now and all the parts are numbered BUT the instructions decide not to use said parts numbers lol 😂
Just wish Round2 would fix their COORS marketing flaw from Great Dane Reefer kit #1249 which I had bought two on backorder (never again from Round2) since they were listed as "Coors Great Dane Reefer" and as you may know did NOT have any Coors decals. This Pete they chose to do has custom Coors paint scheme when all they had to do was re-release the original AMT Coors Kenworth K-123 or WFL red with the bordered white stripe and the trailer decals like they did so nicely with the Miller combo! Makes no sense to me. Thanks for the good review, nice to see contents.
Love the old beer logo's. This is gonna be a cool build.
Cool, now let's get a re-release of the Turnpiker.
Awesome! I built my 352 back in Spring of 2021! It was indeed a fun build!

This will be great when it is done. Thanks for showing us a review of it.

I've bought 2 or 3 of round2 kits and the sprues I've gotten were never that clean, theyre decent kits but can be a little confusing

0:16 I have the Coca Cola version of this and the Coors version and my teacher said to wait tell I’m 21 and I turned 18 recently
This kit looks exactly like the AMT Pacemaker from the early 70's. Can you confirm that?
Are you using super glue on model
