You have done an incredible job of chronceling this disaster. You did a great job portraying the human side rather than 'just' the disaster. Thank you so much even though you often had me in tears. Love you all.
My appreciation to the teams of people working around the clock to restore and rebuild this vital artery. My brother lives north of Kamloops and he’s saying that the local stores are still having a really hard time keeping the shelves stovked
I wanna give a big show of support for all my fellow truck drivers, equipment operators and other people involved in this huge effort. Stay safe guys!! Love the videos too!
I especially appreciate your commentary, for instance where the rocks are coming from, as well as what the operators are doing. Most important of all, stay safe!
Wow. I finally broke down and wore a thin sweater today….along with all the other articles of clothing one should wear. 😀. I turned the heater off on my pool one week ago and the heater on in the house here and there about the same time. East Tennessee. I love the snow as long as my power stays on and I don’t have to drive in it. It’s beautiful up there.
Absolutely fantastic coverage once again! Do you guys ever stop for a breather? Rescue hero’s strike again! Keep up the good work boys and thank you for our daily SteBros fix! 👍🇨🇦
I just sent a E/M to CBC for not broadcasting the traditional Grey Cup . saying that keep British Columbia and Canadians strong We need Independents like your channel to tell the story with no poltical BS . GOOD JOB !
These people did such an incredible job on everything. I applaud you all 👏👏👏👏👏👍 And thanks for all the updates you did for the world to see, I applaud you as well👏👏👏👏 PS; somebody needs to buy you and your family some beers for all this👍🍺🍺🍺🍺 Cheers from Chilliwack 👍
I’ve been in a long distance relationship with my now fiancée for the past five years. She lives in Vernon and I live on the Sunshine Coast. It’s been a horrible feeling being cut off from her. My kid graduates this summer and then I’ll be moving up there full time. These last few months definitely seem like they’re going to be the hardest in all of these years. Your videos really do give me a lot of hope and make me feel a ton better. Thank you so much for your efforts with all of this.
I have to repeat the words from below as I am of the same compliment. Your reporting on this rebuild has been absolutely phenomenal. I’ve watched every video on it from Calgary, Alberta formerly of Salmon Arm a few months ago and have travelled that highway lots over 15 years! I know this road so well. Drove during the forest fires and saw the miles of burnt out forests. Strangely, the washouts did not occur in the fire burn zones. I saw Global news story. This is way way better. It is human, made life long friends with Mike and Ute. Love the dog. The progress, the guys going full bore and the blazing speed of rebuild, the monster rocks to divert the corners in the river. Just amazing. The reporting, the camera work, the interviews, the quality makes the TV networks look like a news job, where yours is a human interest story with real people, not reporters. Big difference. Good Work!
Super impressed with how hard the guys are working to get those bridges fixed up and get the highway back. Good work !!! Loving your first person man on the scene videos on this. Excellent
I can't wait to see how much has changed around the Carolin Mine exist. It's crazy how much the river has changed at the logging bridge there. I wonder how much upriver of that spot has changed.
I really appreciate your reporting, I don’t know what your background is, or was prior to the great rainfall of 21, but you’ve transitioned into reporters that are getting the story out. Two thumbs up from me!
Good job people just need to leave there car key in the car not there house an extra so that these guy can start and move them for them when they can , Your guy s are so great thank you for all you have done for so many
As always your coverage is first rate and continues outclass the major media outlets. The heavy equipment footage is excellent, please keep it coming and thank you.
I am Very Happy things are starting to straighten out for everyone. I would like to continue to see videos from you. Any time you help someone else out of Kindness you will be Blessed beyond your thoughts. Thank you to you and dad.
You folks are doing an awesome job up there with the updates, nice to see the MoT throwing everything they can to get this vital piece of BC infrastructure back in operation!
Great videoing guys, much better than what TV shows and you give it the personal effect that TV has forgotten about, hoping that the Coke will reopen soon so those of us out east can get product faster thanks
It's not usually allowed but this being an emergency and the entire season's spawn being virtually wiped out is probably why the department of fisheries and oceans have given the contractor an exemption permit
Thanks so much for the video updates. It is so encouraging seeing the tireless work to get that road open. I so want that Coq to. open. I’m an addicted backcountry skier. I usually ski up on Thar, Nak and Zoa on the Coq. Can’t this year I bet as essential only. But then Hwy 3 should then open for non essential after Coq reopens. Then I can ski ski ski. Not my first choice I imagine there are sledders that are dying to get into the mountains too. Stay safe. Maybe three more weeks.
Great coverage. Thanks for keeping us informed. I remember when the Coq was built on an accelerated schedule in the mid 80s. They talked with great pride about how the river was redirected in several locations to accommodate the highway. Hmmm... I guess that worked for 35 years. I wonder how long the current reconstruction will last? Not that I have any better ideas.
Could give map references in videos, I can not find these bridges on Google maps. :( Thank you for keeping us updated on the progress of the repairs. Stay safe and warm.
Wow so great for you to keep us updated, I also looked at your videos from the beginning (and some others) ... what a mess it's actually really hard to watch :-( thanks for letting us see this important info first hand (y)
Highway5 is a very important highway that connects valemount BC to hope BC total 630kms and makes lives easier for Vancouver to Calgary commutters by cutting distance of 2 hours
Great videos. Thanks for letting us see the amazing progress that’s being made. Just wondering where all this heavy machinery came from? The Carolina mine?
Great news reporting job guys. Very informative still. Also a good 'human' angle. As a side question/note: How can they get machines in the river and be allowed to dig in the river? If I want to do any road work privately I have to spend months to years to get a ton of permits from MoE and DFO.
We are still in a state of emergency . . . River life has already been so disturbed by the ragging floods . . . Getting it all fixed, then will sort out the wildlife.
The story of the good Samaritan was to illustrate that someone who was looked down upon stopped their agenda and helped out someone that other people just passed by because it wasn't worth their time and effort to help out. There isn't anyone else out there who can help . . . Jer is being himself, an awesome human. Seeing a need and fulfilling it. 👍🤟🙏
Same, got a Tacoma, would be shocked if it did not outperform most expectations. I've owned ( still have a Ford and Chevy) every make of 4X4 , the Toyota has outclassed them all.
You have done an incredible job of chronceling this disaster. You did a great job portraying the human side rather than 'just' the disaster. Thank you so much even though you often had me in tears. Love you all.
You deserve an award for your work in keeping people informed about the situation. Thank you so much for doing this. 🥰

Just so you know, your editing, graphics, and length is perfect. I work in tv and this is just right length for RUclips.
Also that was a Camry.

Your reports are stunning! showing accurate whole difficulties you overcome! Thank you for your hard work! God bless!👍
Canadians have just got to be SOOO proud of the response! Simply WOW!

I’d rethink the direction of the move 😅
You guys are a blessing helping out strangers, and doing what you do filming the Hwy getting fixed. Stay safe. From Vancouver Island.

So thankful for the awesome coverage of our beloved Jessica neighbourhood after this major bit of erosion. You are doing a wonderful job 🙏🏻👍🏻
People working there at the bridge are heroes.. Keep safe guys. I like the way you report.. Helping your friend to retrieve his car is amazing.. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much for the In Depth Reporting and Helping Others! Outstanding Footage!
Thank you for keeping us all so well informed and to all the Hard working people out there, in these unruly conditions! THANK YOU!!! Be Safe!!!
The boys are definitely putting work in. Good stuff fellas!
Thanks! You guys are our only source of news we trust or believe in now!
Super impressed with how hard the guys are working to get those bridges fixed up and get the highway back. Good work !!! Loving your first person man on the scene videos on this. Excellent
Great News coverage from the Coquihalla, National networks eat your heart out !
Thanks for reporting, I hope they are making a beefier base for those bridges this time.
Wow those guys are really moving some big rock . Great reporting guys love it keep it up
I can't wait to see how much has changed around the Carolin Mine exist. It's crazy how much the river has changed at the logging bridge there. I wonder how much upriver of that spot has changed.
Thanks for your updates! God bless yall! 🙏🏼
Wow, they've done so much work! Awesome!

Seems like every gravel truck in western Canada is working on the repair, good on ya!
And your not seeing the Merritt end.
Great Job , thanks for keeping us posted as to what is happening , many many thanks to the road construction crews for the great work ❤️
Good job people just need to leave there car key in the car not there house an extra so that these guy can start and move them for them when they can , Your guy s are so great thank you for all you have done for so many

Glad to see you guys helping others out, it’s unusual to see equipment digging in a waterway I like to see progress it’s happening quickly
It's not usually allowed but this being an emergency and the entire season's spawn being virtually wiped out is probably why the department of fisheries and oceans have given the contractor an exemption permit
Kudos to all the construction crews working in the snowy weather to get the Cog reopen.
You deserve big thanks for the videos you upload. Also a big thanks for taking care of the stuck people.
Thanks so much for the video updates. It is so encouraging seeing the tireless work to get that road open. I so want that Coq to. open. I’m an addicted backcountry skier. No water going to wash those boulders away! Smart construction!
Thanks for the time with Mike & his wife, was great seeing things work out.
Best coverage of the Coq in BC
Great coverage. Thanks for keeping us informed. I remember when the Coq was built on an accelerated schedule in the mid 80s. They talked with great pride about how the river was redirected in several locations to accommodate the highway. Hmmm... I guess that worked for 35 years. Those are some damn good operators.
More of us should start doing reports like this.....real life. Accurate and true.
Thanks for these updates. The local Vancouver TV stations just seem to show old video, if anything at all. Great that you are current. Appreciated.
Guys, edit less and give us more. I could watch this for an hour. Granted, that’s probably just me. Thank you again for all the effort.
Thanks for the update!
Best of luck!
Look at that..over 13k in subscribers. You guys are hitting the big time lol.
You guys are doing a great service with your videos, bless ya

Please stay safe People. You've done so much good💝💖
I love every upload thanks boys !
merry Christmas !
I wonder why the trailer/Rv left their slide out and awning up?
Great videos. Thanks for letting us see the amazing progress that’s being made. Just wondering where all this heavy machinery came from? The Carolina mine?
any idea of how many machines or equipment are working on that whole project BY the way like your updates
Lots , from Hope to Merritt at many sites. If you were told 44 would it mean anything to you ? How about 344 better?
Wicked! We were able to grab our f150 and cub van from there on the 13th thanks to kiewet for driving us up!!
Good information
Great news reporting job guys. Very informative still. Also a good 'human' angle. As a side question/note: How can they get machines in the river and be allowed to dig in the river? If I want to do any road work privately I have to spend months to years to get a ton of permits from MoE and DFO.
We are still in a state of emergency . . . River life has already been so disturbed by the ragging floods . . . Getting it all fixed, then will sort out the wildlife.
Your picture should show up in the dictionary under Good Samaritan.
I wonder if the owners of that trailer watch your videos?
GREAT TO SEE NO SCREWIN AROUND JUST GET ER DONE
Love in bro !!
Sure hope the owner of the trailer can get it soon and it has no water on board of any type or else it`ll freeze and wreck any or all plumbing.
Super Job!!
Those boulders must be hard on that equipment
So much for the endangered Coquihalla Steelhead run.. Wonder where DFO is??
You should watch the B.C. highway documentary on the building of the highway. They tore the river up all over the place... And put it back better! 😊
The flood killed them all anyway, anyone with eyes can see that.....
We are still in a state of emergency . . . Repair the roads first, then work on repairing wildlife. 🤷♀️👍
Epic work to everyone! Frig ya
Anyone know where all the construction workers are living?
🏆Top shelf.
No surprise the Toyota camry started. It's a Toyota.
Lots and lots of luck with any electric cars.
Great video. No bs drama like the discovery gang. You make great stuff without them.
"it's a meee, mario!"
Wonder if there any gold
"it started right away" Of course it did- it's a Toyota.
Lol. My thoughts exactly!
Same, got a Tacoma, would be shocked if it did not outperform most expectations. I've owned ( still have a Ford and Chevy) every make of 4X4 , the Toyota has outclassed them all.
