    such a cool bird here in Michigan they are a 0.1 percent chance of seeing according to e bird

      my bad that must have been a different owl. during the beginning of the year it is 0.2, this time of year they are 0.4 and 0.7 as the highest.

      They do! And that is only really becoming understood. For a long time that was not the thought. So this time of year there is a lot of movement. I hear Beaverhill Bird Observatory is banding tons right now. This is my best bet for an owl coming through and deciding it likes my yard, then hopefully instead of leaving to find nesting, sees the box and stays.

      Yes! I have Northern Flying Squirrels every night!
