I like the wood grain. But they were all good test mugs. It’s been almost 40 years since I’ve poured molds. Glad to see it going through a second time.
Luv them all, I am sure I have seen videos of people fireing jungle gems to cone 5 mud magic and Nu Kua ceramics I think they run tho

The leather mug turned out the best, but the plaid mug has great potential! (I'm a little partial to plaid 🥰) The Jungle Gems mug looks like a great brush holder! You showed so much tenacity making that mold work and glazing the plaid design!

Such a fun mold! The jungle gems mug is so pretty - even if it is a paint mug! But the wood grain might be my fav! So nice!

Loved the Jungle Jems! I wonder if it would have worked if you had put low fire glaze on the inside since that's the only place that needs to be food safe? I follow a guy on IG who puts black ink or grout in the crazing, then wipes it back. It looks pretty cool. Another successful mystery mold! I really loved them all! 🎉
Dang you really had to work for these. Lol. Molds don’t need to be used on a regular basis. Some sit around for 30 40 years and they are ready to go. When you pour a mold for the second and 3rd time etc. make sure they are dry before casting again or they will stick like this. They can’t pull the moisture out if the slip if they are too wet. Great job finishing them!!! The jungle jems mug is sooo beautiful! I love all of the melting! Definitely try it on the rim of a mug. I think you’ll really like it. Spitting is what the glaze is doing. Definitely need to let it all dry out. Maybe candle the kiln?
Yeah that was going to be my go to. Throw a 1 hour preheat on there or something
