An interviewer should also be able to ask interesting and meaningful questions and that is his primary job. But unfortunately, that "primary function" is grossly undermined because of the person's lack of quick wit, low self-confidence and inability to articulate one complete sentence without fumbling or making a fool of himself by his funny accent.
This is a Bengali channel firstly. So, you can't expect hosts to be fluent in Hindi. Even Sridevi herself was not proficient in Hindi. So, stop spewing stupid theories.
