I feel so touched watching this episore, I actually teared; especially when I heard the prayers by the monks on "观世音菩萨普门品“, and when I heard the sweet, little girl, shaking her head, agreeing with her mother that she feels no pain when the "hole" was poked through her ear lobes. : )
Thank you, thank you as feature is most informative, showcasing the life, customs, norms and tradition as celebrated by us here in M'sia as Overseas Chinese away from Mainland. * What would be useful (to me) if production team could incorporate English sub titles to cater to M'sian born Chinese whom aren't proficient in potong hua (unfortunately, I only get by with Cantonese and Hokien as spoken by my granny's from both sides of the family.
