An ordinary citizen who has a medical condition, such as being immune compromised, or has a face covering for religious or cultural purposes should not have anxiety when going in public for fear of not only police impeding their task, but potentially having other citizens questioning and interfering, thinking they are helping the law by calling in, tailing or perhaps even attempting to detain someone. Or even being name called. They shouldn’t have to worry about those possibilities. Not in a supposed free country. Also, “cultural” purposes can be up to interpretation. A person could fight this legally, taking up precious court time that is already pushed beyond reasonable capacity in many areas. I am equally against a mandate for similar reasons. I have two autoimmune diseases. One I developed right as the pandemic hit. I was initially misdiagnosed as a Type 2 diabetic. Despite me eating very little carbs daily, I continued to deteriorate, until I ended up hospitalized in DKA, (Diabetic Ketoacidosis) which will eventually kill a person if not addressed.l, which I was told I was near to. When experiencing Ketoacidosis, (can happen anytime if an insulin pump gets clogged, or forget to give insulin or dosage off, etc.) Kussmaul’s respiration occurs. This causes rapid breathing, which expels more carbon dioxide in succession between breaths, which means when wearing a mask and already having a dangerous respiratory situation, where the muscles associated with breathing get fatigued, you may take in more carbon dioxide than average. This inhibits an already stressed respiratory system. That is just one example of a mask mandate causing harm. Sometimes a law, whether a requirement to do something (mandate) or not do something, (ban) is coming from a place of trying to do good. But it can have unintended consequences. Living our lives daily is a constant risk. Sure, the majority of us wish to mitigate risk where possible. However, this isn’t always advisable or reasonable. Even when trying to prevent harm. Each have choices to make that increases or decreases our risk for various potential harms. Life is NOT always fair and safe. We can’t legislate what is not existing in the natural world. This does not mean we should be a lawless society. I am not a staunch libertarian, by any means. More of a CLASSICAL liberal… look it up… who is personally conservative. When they come upon Foxy-loxy, he tells them he knows a better, faster way to get there, leading them into his den, where he devours them. They were misled into thinking he wanted the same thing they did, and could help them get it sooner. Their trust of someone with nefarious and selfish intentions led to their demise. I know I took a long way of saying that we should not allow lawmakers to infringe upon our rights using our fears. You can’t justify a mask ban anymore than a mask mandate. Human lives matter, of course! But what good is that life if living under increasing control and oppression? Is our life still our own after a certain point? Or are we all chattel/commodities in the psychopaths’ long game?

It is brilliant, as we tend to think our opinions are solely our own in reaction to what we see. Most of us have no clue the level of indoctrination that pushes us to one camp or another. Both “sides” come from the same source with the same agenda behind the scenes. The back and forth we see gives the illusion of choice and that our votes matter, so we don’t revolt against the true source.
Though they admit this in various publications throughout the decades, one such writing is called “Propaganda,” by Edward Bernays. He is called the father of public relations. Selling goods has a similar method as selling ideas. He was the nephew of Sigmund Freud. And the grand uncle of Marc Bernays Randolph, co-founder of Netflix.
Nothing unfolding before us is by accident.
If I were you, I’d abstain from telling others they need to research, when it is clear you have not fully done so yourself. I may know a tad bit more than the average person with specific subjects, as history and human behavior are two areas of interest for me. But I still know that I know very little. The things I discuss are meant to spark a person to go seek the veracity themselves. Not to be an authoritative source, as I’m not.
It is a challenge when seeking truth, though. There are intentional red herrings, of sorts, thrown in to deter from continuing or to steer in the wrong direction. Many will see these things as conspiracy insanity. Considering conspiracies have existed at the very least as long as we have recorded human history, it is laughable to think it is relegated to fiction alone.
The demonization of the phrase, conspiracy theory, works in the interest of the architects of our society. False conspiracies get lumped in with the true ones, intentionally. This creates skepticism and distance.
We are autonomous creatures who have been tricked into compliance. Convinced it is the only way to be safe. It is not unlike the story of Henny-penny, who gets hit in the head by an acorn and thinks the sky is falling. On her way to tell the king, she enlists others who follow, adopting her panic.
When they come upon Foxy-loxy, he tells them he knows a better, faster way to get there, leading them into his den, where he devours them. They were misled into thinking he wanted the same thing they did, and could help them get it sooner. Their trust of someone with nefarious and selfish intentions led to their demise.
I know I took a long way of saying that we should not allow lawmakers to infringe upon our rights using our fears. You can’t justify a mask ban anymore than a mask mandate. Human lives matter, of course! But what good is that life if living under increasing control and oppression? Is our life still our own after a certain point? Or are we all chattel/commodities in the psychopaths’ long game?
