I have a large one on my back. Crusty and catches on clothing sometimes. My dermatologist did not want to remove it because like everything in the UK health system it costs money and is seen as non-urgent. It sucks. I may investigate going private.

Tell them it is causing discomfort and interfering with your quality of life. Otherwise, it’s considered cosmetic. Same way in the US, a doctor told me how to get around the system.

I removed one from my face in just one night by applying iodine and organic castor oil and covering with a bandaid.
