I met Larry when he was living in Desert Debs van at the Holiday inn. I liked his Channel. Haven’t seen any of his post in a long time. Used to donate as well.
Hey Jeepsy!! I've had a very trying summer sorry I missed all your adventures. Looks like life is settling down and healing. Looking forward to spending time watching your channel. Take care and stay safe out there...
Love your new format!!! Its nice having a travel companion to help with the filming...it takes a load off you...also nice seeing Wonder hussy in your video ... keep on going and you'll double your viewers ...be safe ✌️
I found your channel through EminenceFrontx5 (and it is so cool of you to acknowledge Larry in this video!). You really are a special lady; you bring unique perspective, genuine passion, and class to the saturated explore genre. Thank you for raising the bar, and for being so brave and beautiful💖
Also, I wanted to thank you for being so raw about your Dad. I'm a domestic violence survivor. I was with him for 20 years and I know exactly how you feel about trying to help people and bring awareness. I'm dressing my CJ up as a rolling DV awareness rig. All of my trim will be purple which is the official DV survivor color. I'd be open to brainstorming with you on ways to bring awareness to trauma.
Thank you Sarah for bringing us all those videos of different places that some of us will never get to see. I myself can't say thank you enough..😘. Safe travels wherever life's journey guides you....Maverick from NW Georgia..😘👍✌❤💯
Love seeing this places that I will probably never see. Seeing you and that hussy together again made my day. And, woo-baby! It looks like it is still very warm in the desert. Stay safe. Keep an eye on those Crows. Hear the can peck an eye out!!😎😂😆 LOL
Corbin Harney, the spiritual leader for the Western Shoshone tribe, had a place in Tecopa Hot Springs called PooHaBah. It could be a nice "overnighter" and very affordable. I stayed there for free in exchange for some menial tasks. Corbin left the planet in 2007 but some of the elders of the tribe still run the place.
Great video, brings back lots of fun memories. Growing up in Vegas we'd love visiting DV. Cathedral Canyon was truly amazing, the bridges, lights statues, and sound system was remarkable. But Chappo Springs was my favorite. A Piute woman, Juanita Weed, raised her 2 daughters there. Her eldest lived near me in Moapa. Sadly, she passed away a few years ago. Thanks for the Vids. Have a great Winter!
Sara, your videos of Death Valley are awesome. You also have good content showing off your "California Girl" stature and all. With a little help from your friends, you will get over that dreadful traumatic event your father bestowed on you.
I'm originally from SoCal (I'm the one that now lives in Washington off of highway 2). When I was a kid, my family ran out of gas in the middle of death valley in the middle of the night. We found a gas station that wasn't open and slept in the car until the next morning when they opened. If I'd seen all the horror movies when I was a kid, I definitely would've been scared. At that time it was an adventure for us.
I miss seeing Larry on YT. He’s a nice man. I remember these places you put in here, it’s good to reminisce isn’t it? It was nice to live vicariously thru your videos!! 😃😃❤️❤️
DV is one of my Top 3 Mist Favorite Places. Thanks for sharing. You made it to some sites I’ve wanted to visit but Our vehicle isn’t capable. See You out there.
That is such a romantic idea. (Not in a romance manner but enticing way.) living nomadically and traveling. The hardships and reality are much different though. I’m sure you have moments of anxiety especially when you travel. I love that I can live vicariously through you and others on here though while I run the “rat race”. Love your content! ❤
It looks like you found yourself but it seems you found more beauty than anything else. You sure have improved over the adventures. Keep up the good work and adventures. And keep Desert Deb.
Living in the upper Mojave Desert...I appreciate the expances and all the opportunities it offers. .great video...sometimes the music was over burdening...great job overall.
husband speaking age 80 -6 Sept. 8:30 am i've seen this area from Sarah Jane, but it is always beautiful and everyone takes the pictures just a little different and always show areas not covered by the first channel. I remember your first meeting with SJ. Seems like just a few weeks ago.
My mother's parents would go to Death Valley every winter, one place on my to do list once I retire. Ever explore northern California? Shasta Lake, Whiskeytown Lake, Trinity Lake (my favorite), Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen, Castle Crags, Klamath/Scott/Salmon/Trinity River bigfoot country? I'm a local boy, feel free to ask for a local's perspective. Cheers!
Oh my goodness I can't believe you hooked up with Wonder hussy she is awesome and make some really good RUclips videos I think she's to make a great combo holyshit that is cool
'I've clicked on the bell and if I see you have a live chat. I want to join to see if I can learn how you budget your travels. I drove from the east this summer to Montana and worked my way to Nevada. The cost of camping adds up even at $10 to $30 a night and as you said fuel costs were devastating. I feel like i need to limit miles traveled. Any advice from a pro would be helpful.
I have lived in and grew up in the Southern California deserts. The beauty is everywhere! I love seeing your videos of deserts I have not yet experienced myself! ❤
Good god! I always felt that there was something that had happened to you, but never expected you to share it with us. Wow….what a terrible thing to witness. I guess surrounding yourself with the beauty of nature and hopefully good friends along your way, will help to make life better in some way. Keep in mind…some things are never explained. Love from a fellow jeeper!
I also have to mention how awesome your Jeep really is I don't think people really understand how many mods do you have on that thing I was paying attention and I can see how much articulation you have holy cow I used to off-road with the Jeep clubs all over the place with my Ford Bronco but I think I would have got you beat LOL hahaha "you wouldn't understand it's a BRONCO thing" ROTFLMAO
Death Valley once had a giant lake. Today we could transport gravity fed ocean water into Death Valley to increase monsoonal moisture for Colorado Basin therby reversing the drought and growing destruction of desertification. The giant inland Sea could include Salton Sea and Laguna Salada just south of Border. We see how Nathan White of Agess Inc has been working to restoring these water starved inland bodies of water to increase fish farming, recreation, carbon sequestration by growing seaweed and algae. The evaporation of ocean water in hot desert sand yields mineral rich salt to make waterproof bricks, cement and very low cost housing. In Africa the Qattara Depression is another huge opportunity for gravity fed ocean water helping the economy thrive.
I love your videos and the adventures you record. I admire Wonderhussy too. My goodness!🥰 I hope I can make a request from you. You are soft spoken and that's Cool 😎 problem is: this old codger can't hear shit these days. Please speak up for all us ancients that watch you. As always, Thumbs up 👍 and safe travels.
This was a memory video, of when I was in death valley the beginning of my traveling. I was new to filming, didn't have microphones & was shy on camera at the time. I have gotten alot better now 🙂💜💜
@WanderingJeepsy , Elvis would say: Thank you, thank you very much! I didn't pay attention to it's age. My bad. I gotta tell ya, getting old bites. Forgetfulness becomes a daily thing. The good news is: I can watch this video again in 6 months and it'll be brand new again, LOL 😆 And how did you learn how to drive, rock climb??? You're a great driver.💯👍

You are a beautiful soul girl and l love watching your amazing journeys.
The desert is so beautiful and mysterious looking. Thank you for sharing this high def footage with us 🏜🏜🏜
I love the smell of the desert after a rain. Listening to the desert speak its own language too is a beautiful thing.
Enjoy your videos and free spirt.I just turned 60 and I am quitting my job and going to take off with my Harley and my tent and see this country.

That's a nice idea about doing that too your CJ. I had thought about doing that with my JK for suicide awareness 💜
@@wanderingjeepsy just think, you could be driving right passed someone who has that on their mind and it could that to save their life 🤷🏻♀️😁💯
