DC96 is a pads manufacturing machine with pre-packaging unit.
It is basically a punching unit provided with a special die for cutting pads and a set of chutes preparing pads in stacks ready for packaging in different formats.
It can manufacture classic cosmetic round pads as well as oval, square, rectangular pads for healthcare, cosmetic or medical uses.
The machine is composed of 3 main units :
On the left end is the “Compacting & Embossing Unit or Calendaring Unit” where the cotton tape gets compacted passing through two rolls, the lower one heated. The heating roll can be smooth or, optionally “engraved/embossed” with multiple types of decorations to get drawings stamped on the one or the two surfaces of the tape.
The second and main station is the “Cutting Unit” where the tape gets cut by the special Strema die. By specific devices on option, it is possible to apply a “stitching” embossing or a needle punching all around the circumference of each pad.
Under the “Cutting Unit” is the “Packaging Chutes Unit” where pads are canalized in L-shaped tubes and from here stacked and inserted in polybags.
