Thank you sooooo much for this pattern AND tutorial. I've watched so many youtubes and never finished any of the slippers as they were too complicated or the direction wasn't clear. I've knit, crocheted too but the fit wasn't right. This pattern is so simple and yet so perfect! Your tutorial was perfect too! No distracting music, just showing us what to do each step of the way, and speeding up when sewing the pieces. I now feel like I can actually sew! I've waited years for this. Thank you so much! And my feet thank you too :)
Thank you for the pattern and your tutorial. I made my first set of slippers and made it more challenging to turn them right side out as I added a layer of foam to give me more support on the bottom. This is the first pair of slippers that have actually stayed on my feet instead of slipping off my right foot as I walk. You don’t know how many slippers I have purchased, crocheted and knitted through the years…all with the same result…slipping off my feet…all except for this pair. Thank you so much!!
Such darling slippers. I'm just sitting down to do some hand sewing and I'm going to binge watch you to catch up on what you are doing! Sending hugs and thanks for these videos!
I love these but I have a question. When you take off the slippers does the lining come out with your foot? Is there a way to stitch it down so it won’t pop out? Thank you! 💕
I have seen it happen with some fabrics but not all. You can tack the seam allowances of the toes (outer and lining) together to keep the lining inside.

Hi! I really want to make this! I have a question, if I want to add filling, is it possible? And if so, at what stage should I add it? Thanks in advance!
These slippers are designed to be pretty fitted. I think you would have to go up several sizes and it still might be too tight with filling. I would add the filling near the end after you turn the slippers right side out, but before closing the hole.
Hey! I was going to make a couple of teddy bears into a simple pair of slippers. Do you think you could do a diy video on how to do that? I can send you the bears🐻😁
You could make these exact slippers with a faux fur fabric and then cut the teddy bear heads off and hand sew them onto the slippers. Does that make sense?
@@kristataylor4129 I have never thought of doing that. I wonder if the bear fabric is strong enough to be walked on? And maybe you'd want to cut the hole through the tummy so the bear is face up? You'd still need to make a slipper for the lining, but I think that would work!
Nice pattern but having to sign up for something behind the locked content box that appeared to be consenting to play games was not what I expected. I gave up

@@HeatherHandmade that is a good idea. I was thinking about cutting a hole in its tushie and using the whole body of the bear as a slipper.
