City was too neon and over the top for me. City was Batman Returns while Origins was Batman Begins.

Arkham city is definitely the most epic and heroic sounding but the asylum theme takes me back to 2009 so for that i say its my favorite because of the nostalgia it give me.

Marlon Frijters I did. Despite some glitches/lack of polish and the fact that the art direction sometimes works a bit less in some instances (the introduction with Hugo Strange... The Mad Hatter sequence is awesome though) and the terrible batlips of BRtA:AA, I regret nothing. Was hoping for a remaster of Origins

Arkham Origins felt like you were in a movie
Arkham Asylum felt like you were in an animated series
Arkham City felt like you were in a comic
and Arkham Knight felt like you were in a high-budget live-action series.
Personally I think arkham asylum theme stands out especially the beginning like damn it gives you a dark and scary feeling not that I feel that in anyway but its want I assume
Still remember my brother playing arkham city with me watching hoping Clayface would ever be in an Arkham game because he was my favourite character in the lego games, only to be suprised by the last boss fight vs the monster himself, if anything was a plot twist in my eyes, that would be the greatest plot twists I've seen in a game.
The City theme is the best. Invasion is a great track, but there isn't the Knight theme.

Origins is my favorite. Best story, most gritty, best boss fights, and I really enjoy the time frame in Batman's career the most. He needs to be a shadow, a legend, a scary story. The later games he's too domesticated. He's just walking around talking to people and cops like he's Superman. It loses that spark that makes Batman special. He isn't a friendly neighborhood Batman, he's a ninja wrapped in stealth shrouded in urban legend.
I prefer cities boss fights story and acting but Arkham origins is my second favorite.

My personal ranking of the games would be:
1 - Knight: despite the too many tank battles, it was the definitive batman experience, with the darkest plot, the best gameplay, the best secondary missions and the game in general really focused on batman's mind and his fears
2 - Asylum: the best one in terms of atmosphere, you really felt like trapped in the madhouse
3 - City: an amazing game with great story and gameplay. I just like more knight and asylum because of my personal taste
4 - Origins: flawed yet underreated. I'm glad the fandom is realizing, year after year, that it was a good game.

Batman Arkham Origins was my favorite theme and game. But I do admit Arkham City was the best of all 4 in terms of story. Arkham Knight was repetitive, but had a compelling story and the graphics rocked. And Arkham Asylum is....I mean come on, the one we play when we want to be creeped out.
Agreed. Origins had a more intimidating theme. Asylum's the creepy one, Origins' the vengeful one, City's the heroic one, and Knight's the "last stand" one.

Imo i liked arkham knight's story the most and the second is city but the thing thats sets knight far from the others is the graphics, the movement, combat, batmobile, more things to do and its just more fun to be that game because it is a bigger city and because of the new tech batman had gotton througout the story its really fun to just glide around, beat up people and drive the batmobile but definetly the most important on how arkham knight is far better is movment, combat, and graphics
The transition from Asylum to City was insane.

Arkham knight has a diffeent theme on my game. I noticed one thing about this theme. It has motifs from origins and asylum in it. The 2nd phrase sounds exactly like origins.

He explains it in Asylum, in case you don't remember, that Dr. Young drained the Venom from his blood so she could create TITAN.

Origins had the best bosses period, and in my opinion there is no reason in The Arkham Knight tank boss where the fight between Batman and Arkham Knight couldn't have transitioned into a rooftop boss fight where you fight him like Deathstroke but it's much harder because Jason knows Batman's Skill set and then it ends with a chase where Batman loses him and the predator boss fight with Jason happens later in the game.

The one chosen for Arkham Knight isn't actually the main theme for Arkham Knight, it's just the theme for the assault on the GCPD. The Arkham Knight main theme is very boring however, so this is a victory for everyone.
