My music teacher had showed us the full movie over a course of like a month or two every day on Fridays, in the beginning when it was the really pretty cutscene showing us around, it had played like a part of Favorite Things, all of us had such a confused face, the teacher had to explain to us

Oh my god okay so for my high school's spring musical my senior year we did this show and I got cast as my dream role…………Gretl. And it's been 2+ years but I'm still p emotionally attached to this show, and this was…………*chefs kiss* fucking beautiful. My favorite line of the show was the part where the family is hiding in the abbey's garden and one of the nuns (Sister Margaretta) is like "we must all be very quiet" and then the next line is Gretl's and-I shit you not-here's what the script said: *GRETL (in full voice): Isn't this God's house?* and then everyone SHUSHED me and it was my favorite line of the whole show bc this five-year-old almost got her family killed by Nazis whoops lol. Another one of my favorite parts of the show was actually when the kids are singing in front of their dad for the first time and he's like :O. During either a dress rehearsal or an actual show, the guy who played Captain Von Trapp started singing with us and we (the kids) were directed to keep singing but also be surprised by our dad singing bc WHAT? DAD CAN SING? SINCE WHEN DOES HE NOT HATE US FOR SINGING??? and anyways so Captain Von Dad starts singing and my way of being surprised was just smiling wide-eyed at him in awe bc Gretl's like 5 and has no memory of her dad singing like this and so ANYWAYS we're all singing and I'm like ":O :D" and when we were at the part where he sings "I know I will hear what I've heard before" he approached us and he knelt down in front of me for a hot second and I immediately just hugged him and it wasn't really planned like we hadn't done that in rehearsals (I think this happened during an actual show) and it was so goddamn wholesome and *screams* I have a billion stories about this show bc it was honestly like the actual best time of my entire life.
I was actually Liesl in the musical and so yea that’s pretty accurate lol. The guy who played Rolf was like a head shorter than me, so instead of this cute & romantic song, we kinda messed around and made everyone laugh. It was great😂
I freaking LOVE this movie. I remember that the first time I watched The Sound of Music I was in the 1st grade. Everyone else was just talking and not even paying attention to the movie, and I think I was the only one who actually wanted to watch it, but I couldn't because I was so distracted by my classmates chatting. I remember the teacher was like "Children! We're watching The Sound of Music, not the sound of your voice!" Still makes me laugh to this day. Also, I didn't remember much of the scenes (thanks to my noisy classmates) until I rewatched it 7 years later on Disney+. Now, I watch this movie about once a week.

I love how you make your "In a Nutshells" like their own little skits that still keep things a bit random. Most videos like this just use the computerized voice and just kind of say the things that happened randomly. You still do that but with personality and you make it really enjoyable. Thank you.
