Not necessarily all of it,she didn't deserve to be falsely accused or executed, but her ambition and pride led to her downfall.

i have conflicting feelings abt anne boleyn because damn she was a real bitch to catherine of aragon and wolsey and her entire family(except george) but also we respect the hustle but then again she was a real bitch just in general and had no concept of how to handle the pr side of being a queen, which was all a queen could really do then. sure she was really smart, and had fantastic self-control, but in my opinion she was prettt heartless, and possibly even poisoned various people such as bishop fisher, one of catherine of aragon's greatest defendants(who she later encouraged henry to execute(which he did, as well as thomas more, his childhood friend, also at anne's encouragement)(as well as cardinal wolsey, who was not only henry's father figure and best advisor imo, also rose up from being a person of normal-ish rank, which anne resented) They all suffered a lot, but out of all of them, I think Anne is the only one who brought any of it upon herself. Not necessarily all of it,she didn't deserve to be falsely accused or executed, but her ambition and pride led to her downfall.

I do wish that the show made a bigger deal of CONCEDING THAT HOWARD HAD IT THE WORST she was a literal CHILD who was given no agency and had few other prospects due to her past. The poor girl was terrified of being anything less than perfect for henry and she died at NINETEEN.

Technically they all have different names. The first "Catherine" was actually named Catalina (she was Spanish) but they called her queen Catherine just cause it was a more "English" name. Anne and Jane have the normal spelling of their name. "Anne" of Cleves was actually Anna of Cleves. Now, this is where it gets interesting, Catherine Howard had her name spelt a ton of different ways, including Catherine, Katheryn, and Katherine but the most common one was Katherine. Catherine Parr was a writer, so we know how she spelt her own name. In The Lamentation of a Sinner (her novel), she spells her name Caterine (no h). SO in order, that's Catalina, Anne, Jane, Anna, Katherine, Caterine.
