I've lived in the south 40 years and never hear of sprinkler blowout! Which IS a great comparison to the 1st century church movement. Really looking forward to the new podcast! Thanks Matt you have opened my eyes to a wonderful way of studying my bible and growing in faith ..

I'm sorry Matt, but down here in far southern Illinois not many of us have sprinklers. We have plenty of grass and don't want it to grow.😊

In the UK sprinklers are very uncommon inside houses.
Hotels and offices and such may have them, but inside houses people mostly just have a fire alarm but no sprinklers.
A large part because people have a tendency to accidentally set the fire alarm off with burnt toast or something. I think office kitchens have automatically closing doors to prevent this.

I think one difference is in the UK, pretty much every single house will have a toaster and a kettle; both of which can set fire alarms off. My understanding is in the US these are more niche items.
