ENSONIQ SD1/ VFX- Overview of Key-Bed Repair

Ensoniq SD 1 is Music production synthesizer.
This synth is related to VFX series, as well partially related to TS 10
SD 1 and VfX-SD was produced in years 1989-1991.
Ensoniq SD1 even today, is still very advanced and capable instrument.

So you had to take out the rubber pieces and replace them with the product (Vaseline etc.) or did you have to apply the Vaseline to the rubber pieces? There's a jump in the video that makes me think the actual instructions are missing or maybe I missed something. Either way, thanks for posting this! I just got my hands on a VFX SD that was internally upgraded to an SD-1 32 and the aftertouch on the black keys is great but it only works on the white keys if you do it up close to the chassis between the black keys etc.
