Really a blessing to have grown up with WF after we all left UCSD. There was something so touching about seeing husband, wife, and kid... along with their large network of support system. I don't think it coulda gone as well had the wedding occurred before 1st? son. :)

It was so absolutely beautiful, and I am so glad that you two created the wedding that you had wanted and deserve. :) I have been following Wong Fu since the beginning, so it was so amazing to see this huge event on video! I did actually really love the fact that you had the wedding two years after you actually legally became married. It makes the wedding vows that much more genuine and substantial because you already have that experience of being married to each other. It is truly inspirational and probably something beautiful and positive that each married couple could benefit from, ie, renewing their vows to each other periodically to celebrate and remind each other of their love and gratitude. Wow, hard to believe it’s been so long since WongFu started and now Phil is married with a child. I still remember seeing Phil, Wes and Ted at LAX when they just started out. I looked at them and I think Phil must have known I knew who they were as he gave me a that sort of IKYK look and head nod. Cool dude and so happy for him and Helen.

It's not weird at all. I fully agree with you. Why would any man who loves his wife, and has chosen to put her before all others, do something so disrespectful in such a public way?
I'm sure they believe it's being playful, but it's more an act of aggression and humiliation than of playful love. An example of being playful would be putting a dab of icing on her nose and then kissing it off rather than smashing the cake in her face. Just one man's opinion.
