I've actually drank water unfiltered directly from the Rhine river in Switzerland. If you did that in Germany, you'd die. The laws limit the production of needless garbage, and garbage doesn't even get kept in Switzerland. They pay other countries to remove it. The Swiss have four national languages - German, French, Italian, and Romansh. Even with language barriers, the people there get along well - appreciating their differences. People are pleasant and well mannered because parents responsibly teach their children to be pleasant and to be well mannered. Switzerland doesn't meddle in the business of other countries. Switzerland has the highest gun ownership in the world and one of the lowest murder rates. In 2012, there were only 64 murders. In just the city of Chicago, that's any given weekend. Engineering is sublime. Riding on most trains is like riding in a Lexus - quiet, smooth, air conditioned, and with panoramic windows for viewing their beautiful countryside. Hiking is fantastic there, and if you're concerned about safety while hiking helicopter evac insurance is cheap. Rega Swiss air rescue is amazingly good at their jobs. If you like dairy, milk products in Switzerland are much, much better. The cows grazing in mountains eating chamomile and herbs produce milk like nowhere else on earth. Seriously, if I reincarnate anywhere else please just shoot me in the face at birth.

Even more so if you want to live somewhere else as you need to built up everything. Many tend to forget that.
Life in Switzerland is very expensive, it's difficult to be successful if you are a foreigner. The salaries are high but most of it goes away from you. But yes, the nature is amazing, literally every part of this country is beautiful. The climate is also good and sea is not far for those who are missing it. Some lakes are so big they really feel like a sea.
Switzerland and Greece are two of my favorite places on earth. I also love the Laddakh Valley in India and the Bora Bora islands. These are some of the ultimate places to travel to.

Even more so if you want to live somewhere else as you need to built up everything. Many tend to forget that.
Life in Switzerland is very expensive, it's difficult to be successful if you are a foreigner. The salaries are high but most of it goes away from you. But yes, the nature is amazing, literally every part of this country is beautiful. The climate is also good and sea is not far for those who are missing it. Some lakes are so big they really feel like a sea.
