    👏🏻It was very refreshing to see that you guys are actually innovating with your products, specially in the right direction. I’m thrilled to see this and how you guys are really going after efficiency. I’ve also seen one of your products where you don’t need to wipe off before applying a coating but the polish acts as a form of a primer for the coating. Haven’t tried those products but it’s something I’m going to take a look into for sure 👍🏻

    One huge note for compressed air, and I learned this on my first ceramic coating job is you need to make sure your air compressor has filters on it otherwise you’re going to be blowing dust and oil directly on a fresh or ceramic coating. Just a little tip that nobody ever talks about when using compressed air on a vehicle, big shops never really think or talk about this because this is standard on big air compressors, but small commercial air compressors for mobile detailers do not have these filters standard.

    Are you okay do this on top tap water after rinsing the vehicle? To reduce a step of drying then spraying again with distilled water?

    • @DrBeasleys
      @DrBeasleys  Год назад +1

      We recommend the distilled water because it helps the coating form the best bond - less impurities, better bond. The coating will still work with tap water, you just may not get the kind of longevity you would with distilled.

    Safe for glass as well? Would not expect the durability to transfer. But curious if it would communicate with glass well?

    • @DrBeasleys
      @DrBeasleys  3 года назад +1

      Indeed safe for glass and you're also spot on about the durability - the bond just won't be as strong as it would be with clear coat.

    These guys are good. Is total decon safe for decon of a ceramic coating after a few months to a year for maintenance?

    • @directorofsuccess

      Total Decon is our most aggressive water-based gloss paint cleanser.... so we woudl recommend reinforcing the treated area with our maintenance product, AdvanceCoat: Gloss.

      Here at the O.R. in Stuart, Florida, we use the Dr. Beasley's Detailing Detergent. It's very concentrated, so don't use the Glug Glug method of pouring into your washing machine. Here's the link,

    Can I apply the Nano Ls-10 on the wet truck?

    There are some concerns on how they wash. Perhaps it's just not what I've learned. brushes are touching the ground when cleaning the wheels, won't that pickup grit and debris that may scratch the wheels? also, the sponge on paint..
    What kind of pressure and foaming system are they using? clearly it's commercial grade.

    Does formula 1201 prevent marring from washing/drying and contaminates from sticking since it’s not a traditional 9h coating that doesn’t have a sliding angle

    • @directorofsuccess
      @directorofsuccess 3 года назад +1

      Formula 1201 is a hydrophobic coating that does provide contaminant resistance as well as protection from micro marring. 9H hardness is of no importance to us as we utilize DxFlex technology that allows the coating to flex and move with the panel. After all, a car without a suspension will shake itself apart. Similarly, a coating needs to be able to move with the panel as it expands and contracts from heat/cold and flexes as you drive the car down the road. A 9H coating does not have the flexibility to do so. Another feature that we are quite proud of is how our coatings focus on Slide Angle over Contact Angle. We feel it is more important to focus on getting the water off the panel (slide angle) rather than simply having beads standing tall (contact angle). Pretty beads are nice but we would rather just have the water off the paint.

    • @directorofsuccess
      @directorofsuccess 3 года назад

      @@brandonobannon2531 Short answer is yes... but when stacking on another coating there can be a lot of variables that may affect performance. To attain the best possible performace, it's all about the prep.

    • @DrBeasleys

  • @stephenlouden480
    @stephenlouden480 Год назад

    Should absolutely use a synthetic ultra fine clay towel like DIY details decon towel or Rag companys synthetic clay towel... which does not induce micro marring. no decon application and rinse will remove all contaminants without it.
