But did not discuss the effects on human body. If it is biodegradable plastic, isn't it harmful for humans to consume it? Does it cause cancer? Please let me know as I am concerned.
Are the polylactic acid bags safe for consumption? I ordered a box of tea and it freaked me out when I opened the box. I wasn’t expecting a mesh bag, but they claim it’s polylactic acid. Their site says nothing to the safety of consuming these bags of tea.
he stated that the polyacted acid is biodegradable and made from plant fiber so in guessing that doesn't contain plastic ... but if you want to be safe just take the tea out the bag and get a strainer ... I guess just to play it safe
