It was an amazing site… I was a little apprehensive when I saw two people walking out ahead of you. Did you meet up with them but not put it in the video? You got two strong finds. Can’t wait to see what you do next! The blanks between action shots got filled with commercials. Whatever you do will be an adventure for all of us.

Hi, the range of history is very interesting, I'm imagining the Martello was built with the use of horse drawn wagons and barges at high tide (all those granite blocks!) then I guess later construction would have used motorised transport. People and goods all up and down that walkway for a hundred years! Thank you for the interesting tour and view from the top, rather you then me. Glad you have all recovered and are bouncing back for more adventures, looking forward to what the next video brings. Take care and stay safe, cheers xx

When they speak of smooth bore guns, they are speaking of the inside surface of the gun. In early guns that surface was smooth. Apparently when they replaced the guns, the new guns had was rifling. This is a surface that has a spiral grove running up the barrel. What this does is cause the ammunition to spin, so it's sin was more precise and accurate. Smooth bores were less accurate.

Great video. Would love to spend the night in one of the window boxes with a mate, a jet boil, a tarpaulin and a warm sleeping bag. Listening to the sounds of the tides, wind and past residents. Love your jacket J!

A still frame of Andy at 9:41 & you Josie at 9:50 are Epic. I enjoyed y'alls enthusiasm to explore & tell the History. Too bad some of the shipwrecks you have no tale for. Yet, we get this Awesome exploration of time gone by. I must also say i found it pleasing that you did not basically pay attention to the mischevious willy's & other miscreant markings. Other than to utter the obvious of someone mindless pushing over the water tank. Bravo, Stay Safe & Ty for taking us along

I'm always amazed that you guys in Britain have access to all these amazing abandoned places. Here in Australia they would have erected huge barbed wire fences around something like this tower. One thing we're great at in Australia is building fences. I loved your musical interlude sequence at 9:22. Fantastic little adventure Mudpies.

Oi Oi! Mudpies! I missed you. I also miss your responses to my comments, but I understand. Your channel grew in subscribers so fast. It would be hard to keep up with all subscriber comments. I just miss talking to you. ❤️ enjoyed the adventure. I love all the history that you show us. Take care.

This is so cool! I love how it's literally a tower coming out of the sea. The insides are very reminiscent of Endicott-period coastal batteries over here (1886-1905 construction).

Wow...what an unusual space...so full of a very mysterious but peaceful atmosphere. I love to roam places like that. Here in NJ we have old gun turrets and places that were guarding our harbors. I used to ride my bike out there and just try to imagine war and the extreme military mind set. Yours is a labyrinthine place...stupendous video!
