Excellent teaching. The tasks are designed well, particularly the first with the different handouts and corresponding content. They're facilitated well with appropriate checks for understanding, including having learners sit back to back to encourage more spoken interaction while completing the information gap. The teacher's explanations are clear and understandable, and the learners' conversations are rich. While they're interacting, I might make note of some of the language they use to fulfill the task objective. I would put this group at approximately the novice-mid level working toward novice-high proficiency?
These activities are great! From the voice echoes, the classroom sounds small. Was there not any way that the pairs could have sat in different areas of the room? It seems that, with the pairs sitting adjacent to one another, it was a challenge to hear their partners speaking.
Interesting, different activities!
They engage students! They feel more relaxed - therefore performing far better!
Thanks 😊
