This feels eerily like teaching girls how not to be raped 😣 I have a very young son and I teach him about consent so nobody’s daughter has to learn how not to be raped 🥺 Victims of abuse should not be the ones forced to contort themselves into almost perfection to avoid assault or in this case being murdered by that “one bad cop”... while offenders are barely discussed 😏
I think it's so sad that people need to be taught how to respond to the very people who are meant to protect them. Cops shouldn't be so trigger happy that citizens see them as a threat. I'm naive though because this is not my lived reality 🇿🇦

When you get pulled over, don't raise your voice. Even if you're innocent, you sound like you're hiding something 👌
I remember reading that if you are pulled over, immediate get on the phone with someone else. This will be your back up if anything doesn’t go well.
