A Space For Us | One Outside Film Grant 2022

A Space For Us tells the story of how the Queer and Trans Youth + Allies (QTYA) summer camp provides life-affirming community and self-discovery in nature. Through participatory filmmaking, the youth capture a glimpse of the joy and vibrancy of being their full, magical queer and trans selves in the outdoors. A Space For Us takes place on Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo land in northern California.

....So glad my grandkid gets to experience this and sincerely hope more and more spaces for Queer youth to grow, connect and be supported. I cannot tell you how much I would have given for such an opportunity...glad things are better now
