I've been dying to know about Sienkiewicz's technique more than losing virginity. Aside from that inconvenient bit of personal information, I've never heard of that gesso trick before. Ever. This is a real treat. Thank you.
@@smallmanbigmouth2699 Glad you asked! Constantly hindered and distracted by waning personal virility, fascination of the magical realm of pen, paint and brush that keeps occupying my time, way too crafty a hand and my countrymen's excellent judge of potential partners.

Awesome technique! I tried this out and now I can make drawings look 10 times cooler in half the amount of time. But be warned! The bleach will dissolve your paintbrushes like acid. Only use brushes that you don't care about. I had to learn that the hard way.
hi Bill I your work is amazing I seen u at Chicago comic con and you had magazine about your artwork I ask you to signed it you did. always honor to meet u are u coming to Chicago comic con anytime soon?
@@nickmoran1 That's true, shame they never finished it, but I can kind of understand why. I just long for another Watchmen or V, but I suppose times move on.
Watching Bill work is magic, pure and simple. Such fire, enthusiasm, and imagination at work.
This guy is a living treasure. Such a rare treat to see him at work.

"Another layer of experimentation, another layer of possibility, another layer of "oh shit" Yeah that seems familiar!
The way he channels Bernie Fuchs is amazing.
🔥💟🖤 AWESOME VIDEO 🖤💟🔥
360p? How old *_IS_* this video?!
His cup of water being so close to the drawings made me very nervous!
why the choice of ink over watercolor?
He was inking not drawing. Video title is misleading.
I bet you hear this all the time, but if only you could work with Alan Moore.
he has actually! A few times at that, they did a graphic novel or two that are sadly out of print :(
He did. 'Big Numbers'
