They keep a skeleton crew and contract out all of the major stuff. All utilities have been doing this for the last decade or so. Whenever there is a regional problem they can't get repairs booked because the contractors are shared with other utilities in the area.
When a company ignores its customers, it’s really frustrating. These days many people work from home and need internet to work! Xfinity set up a robot to tell its customers a representative cannot help and then hang up the phone call. So frustrating!
They do get discounts when there are delays but that's not enough.Usually AT&T transports extra techs from out of state or from out of town.IF THEY DONT CALL "THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION" and they will get out there IMMEDIATELY
These customers should get a discount on their next bill.
it should not take a news crew to contact companies to get customers issues resolved
Good job KHOU. 👏👏
3 weeks is unacceptable.
I'm curious if there's enough linemen to do the job across the town.
Linewomen*** we need black women up there for diversity

This is the kind of thing that makes me hang on to starlink even though I can easily just get cable.

Att&t aint no dummy! Theyre waiting on everything to get repaired so it can be minimal for them
😂😂 No Internet no cable grow up 😂
There are people without homes from tornadoes get a life!
They should get free WiFi for a lifetime
Lady property has an only fans and now is losing money. It’s a dam shame.
Honestly, getting a starlink system as an emergency back up make sense but costly.
Costs about as much as getting cable or fiber, like $600 up front and then $100 a month.
