My mom has early onset Alzheimer’s. She’s 69, and started showing signs around the age of 55. She just got diagnosed last year, when she was 68. She passed every test until then, but when I tell you her retention time is five minutes on a good day, and less than 30 seconds on a bad day - the neurologist’s test results don’t mean much at this point when we can see with our own eyes something is wrong.

Her mother's situation was different compared to your dad's it doesn't make her an expert and she didn't claim to be, however how are you gonna say she's "no expert" when you clearly said you normalized his behaviors because you basically were in denial about a disease process you refused to acknowledge. I'm no expert but I've have worked with all 3 diseases in various stages and Bidens signs and symptoms are indicative of one of the 3. Especially if he has any kind of heart or cholesterol issues, then he definitely has some Vascular Dementia setting in. Which would explain him having days of being Alert and Oriented vs days of being confused and disoriented.

I am a primary physician . An annual physical exam does not routinely require a neurologist seeing the patient . The patient only sees a neurologist if there are signs or symptoms to warrant this referral to a neurologist specialist

Doctors don’t ask for a neurologist unnecessarily unless they are thinking of something or to confirm something. Once is to confirm diagnosis, three times is for follow up of a confirmed diagnosis. Funny how she doesn’t mention a cognitive test at all.
Alzheimer's was not listed as something looked for at all by the neurologist.

Except for the President, who sees all these specialists as a routine matter each year to confirm that he is healthy and showing no signs of disease. It is part of his job. The rest of us see specialists when we get referrals or have an issue, but not the President. That is standard procedure and has been for quite some time.

Even then that report was from February. My mother in law was "normal" then 4 months later she had early onset dementia. After that debate it's reasonable for the voters to want a complete up to date exam.
