2:59 I am one of the guys who likes the memory because I have been getting WAY better results since enabling despite using custom instructions prior. However it might be other updates improving my experience , the past 2 months it felt like GPT4 was actually backsliding now it’s on point.

I have been interested in AI since it kicked off. This is the first time I have come across one of your videos, and I must say that it was both informative, and also interesting to listen to your perspectives when it comes to the current negatives you deal with when it comes to RUclips. I have messed around with a bunch of the different chat bots, and also dalle, and SUNO. I found that I enjoy using chat gpt in combination with Suno to help me come up with unique songs. I use chat gpt to help me create the song lyrics, and then use Suno to create the song using the custom tab to insert the lyrics Ive created on chat gpt. Anyways, I would honestly always be interested in talking more about AI because I find the topic to be extremely entertaining, and also mind boggling at the same time. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Wonderful comment thanks. As most of the tools mix and match I would also say that the combinations of tools get the best results. Have you tried Udio yet as an alternative to Suno? Many people report that they prefer it but Suno definitely has its upsides too.

on May 3rd, I discovered that ChatGPT does not have access to my Custom Instructions after I turned on the Memory feature. However, the memory feature is also not functioning. Does not remember , when asked. When asked about the custom instructions, chatGPT said they do not have access and did not know what it was. Has anyone experienced this?
3:15 custom instructions have a character limit, so no, you can't put 'anything you want it to remember ' in there
What sucks is that I can't sign into meta AI otherwise it's going to kick me off the website and I won't be able to use it, so I have to use incognito to order to access it without logging in, despite of me really wanting to have my messages save
Agreed, that the memory feature is nothing special. But it is conceptually different than custom prompts. The former is global, also applying to active chats. The latter is purely local. You personally may want that for the reasons stated, but I have to ask...if anyone is worried about some context appearing in an inappropriate setting, they should think about why they give Open AI that information, in the first place...
Aside from that, memory can be interesting to watch for when and why the AI memorizes things, without you explicitly telling it to.
Yes exactly I like your comment about watching what it picks up yeah. Definitely a nice addition if you are aware of it being there. And as stated I thin this will be amazing as a GPT specific feature but right now I personally found it to be more annoying than anything but then also I spent the last year crafting all types of hyper specific custom instructions.
Just to clarify: I am more worried about my work context appearing in conversations that have nothing to do with work.

absolutely. the re-writing, text to voice and transcription parts are AI. Just a unique combo in a simple free interface. Thought it was worth sharing

Got to disagree about memory. I write large story Bibles. So my summaries ho into memory. Saves a lot of time and fussy uploading.. Can't put them into custom instructions as they are now. So not a beginner. Find it useful for my use.

Hey bro , I'm just letting you know why unsubscribing. I don't want to know about "10 new awesome AI tools" or any of that. I want to judge by the title whether it's of value to my time. But good luck you do great work.
Appreciate that. I will keep doing these but me and the team agreed yesterday that it's time to revive the "deep dive on a specific one" format and more how-tos on the RUclips. Main issue is that we focused on creating all the how-to content for the paid community but now we get to come back with (hopefully) better content than ever. Anyway appreciate the feedback and maybe we meet again :)
I still can't upres simulated smoke or loop unlooped videos. Every day lots of AI news and so far useless in AAA gamedev.

There are tons of AI tools for game devs, usually developed by Nvidia. If only you were looking them up in the right places maybe you would have found them already.
