The hour hand and the minute hand are in a straight line, hence the angle btw them is 180deg. But since the hour hand has passed the 7'0 clock hence the hour value will be 7 for the formula. 180deg = (11/2) * x + 30 * 7 (taking minute value as x) on solving you will get x = 5 * (5/11) Hope you understood.
