I remember hearing Chris Stapleton for the first time. IMO, he is “pigeonholed” as a C&W artist. To me, he represents the best of the blues, soul, rock, & country all in one.

Chris has married to Morgane Stapleton since 2007. They have 5 kids together and she joins him onstage quite often. I think they're doin' alright. Both Chris and Morgane are pretty well known song writers who have written quite a few hit songs for quite a few other artists. What you're seeing here is just how good of a writer and emoter he is.

"I Was Wrong" is what I recommend. Live is always best. "Death Row" is available as a studio performance but not to be missed. Well done and I realize this is your channel. Do it your way.

It my have happened before he met his wife Morgan. But they are very happily married. She sings with him a lot. She has a very beautiful voice. If it weren't for Morgan we may have never heard Chris. He wrote songs for so many people. But he has stage fright, not as bad as it was. You'll notice him looking at her or to the side☮️
Hey Chris, his wife is a singer/songwriter too. She sings duet with him at times, she's' background in Tennessee Whiskey. They have 5 kids together 4 boys 1 girl

Chris is one of the few country artists that I'll listen to, mainly because of that voice and the other genre's you can hear in him. All that soul, rock & blues. He's almost in his own category, really.

I live in New York and we have NO country music stations (we've never have) BUT THEY PLAY CHRIS STAPLETON MUSIC!!! That should tell you right there... he's not a country music star... he's a southern rock & Blues musician ❤ he doesn't even have a country accent when he talks😅
