In this video we took a trip to Ginnie Springs in High Springs, FL. Ginnie Springs is a great location if you are looking for a great Weekend Adventure and some fun in the water! With 7 natural springs to explore, you will have more than enough opportunity to take a much needed break and relax in the 72 degree water in one of Floridas beautiful natural resources. We suggest getting in at the top spring, floating your way out into the SantaFe and allowing its warmer waters to carry you down to each of the springs giving you an opportunity to visit all the springs and enjoy their beauty… Full Disclaimer Ginnie Springs being it is a privately owned campground some of the rules that would apply at a State or Government Owned Park will not apply here. Although reservations can be made in advance for RV camping, the more popular primitive camping is first come first serve and on holiday weekends or prime summer months will fill up quick attracting over a thousand folks wanting to enjoy these waters whether camping or simply there for the day. It should also be noted, that although you are provided a list of campground rules they are not strongly enforced i.e. quiet time! There is no such thing as quite time and the party goes on 24hrs, so if you are looking for a peaceful quiet nights sleep, I wouldn’t count on it. Lastly if you intend to visit with small children, please be advised they will be in the presence of one form of substance consumption or another happening throughout the campground.. This is a party Crowd……
