For the bonus room upstairs, make this a family room for the kids/guest room. add a pullout sofa bed plus single chair bed, in the corner by window and mini fridge a small bistro table& chair set for games. So many possibilities. Love it. This home is absolutely wonderful. Thank you for showing it.

I absolutely love this home! I can see why it won a design award. I love the way the beautiful stone fireplace is reflected on the other end by the stove hearth surround. The screened back porch is a dream. I also really like the master bathroom- the separated toilet, the way the tub is centered on the window with the vanities on either side, the vessel sinks and the raised portion of countertop behind them. LOVE the his & hers closets. Great bonus room upstairs, which I'd probably use as a media/ gaming/ theater/ hangout space, or I'd put that downstairs and use the bonus room as a guest room, or craft room, or fitness room, or... (lol, so many possibilities!) Even that little office nook is perfect! The very few things I would change are mostly cosmetic, like paint and cabinet colors and styles, and a sink in the outdoor kitchen/ grilling station. Thanks for showing us this gorgeous home!

I think this is my favorite. 😊. Hubby and I are rustic country lovers, that stonework is to die for. I’ve always wanted the stove in a stone covered nook like that. Perfectly mirroring the fireplace. Feels like home. Loving that screened in back porch as well. Gorgeous. I would make the bonus room my art studio. Good lighting and nice windows to enjoy a treehouse feel. Perfect home. I thought I have seen all your videos, and there have been some beautiful homes, but this one is breath taking !! I love everything in it, the decor, the colors. I don't care if they don't build in my state, I would seriously leave the state, I want to leave any way. I absolutely love this home, I am over the moon. Beautiful home, not sure about the stone jut out around range, (might be hitting g my arms there). In my kitchen that I designed, next to the sink in this home I would incorporate a cabinet with the trash can so weather we are cooking, prepping or baking, the trash is easily accessed. Bonus, no trash can for puppies to make a mess. Really like this home with colors they used.
Definitely using that spare room as a Nerd out Space/Game room. D&D, Red Dragon Inn, shelves for minis, mini library for the missus' fantasy novels, etc.
There is SO much I love about this model home. Very charming. The only feature that had me scratching my head was the soaking tub that divides the his and hers sinks in the owners bathroom. The tub placement seems to disrupt the natural flow of the walking space. I'm sure this would be an easy fix however.
One of my favorite homes. Absolutely loved the layout! That bonus room I would make as a guest suite/living area. I would change the positioning of the throne room in the owners suite bath and I would have the tub and shower in an entire encased area. I think the tub jutting out to carve out 2 spaces is an old impractical design. The closets in the owners suite is something I wish all homes had. I'd rather see smaller functional bathrooms and expanded closets that look like a 2nd rooms or bonus space in each bedroom (bigger than walk in), keeps the clutter for beauty out of a bathroom that might be shared. Going smaller in the bath areas would also allow for higher end finishes as you wouldn't need as much material - also a great way to upsell a customized a closet. Pony walls should be banned. Have the area defined by generous pocket doors or sliding doors. The swing positioned next to a window in the outdoor living space was odd. Outdoor living area should have been all slider or folding doored to allow walk out to that fabulous entertainers dream of a patio. A small sink would have been helpful in the prep area. The kitchen rocked, the oven place was beautiful and I didn't mind the triangle island but I feel like they are dated looking. One of the things I would love to see in new homes is an area either off the garage or off the entry that has a protected space for package delivery or contact free delivery, protected from the elements and porch pirates. I don't know if it's a walk-in 3rd garage area, a mini room ideally accessible from a walk in pantry laundry area but it would be something I would be looking to design when I build my next home using this home as the template.
For me, that bonus room would be my computer/project room. My husband and I are both gamers but I do a lot of art projects. The supplies and desks and stuff take up a lot of space so I'd designate that bonus room for myself.
Unbelievably Extravagant!!! I would make a ‘hen den’ out of the bonus room to gather my girlfriends and daughters to do our crafting and such. You did a great job on this one Tim, God bless ~
Beautiful home, but you threw me for a loop with the wrong floor plan. lol I always pause on the floor plan to, kind of, map out the flow. You visually tripped me coming through the door.
@@TimothyPLivingston I do realized that these homes are customizable and that plans can be flipped/ mirrored, etc. The plan on the vid shows the secondary bedrooms at the front of the house, not down the side. The kitchen to the side with windows, not nestled centrally. There is more but, if the home shown in the vid is supposed to be a modification of the one on the plan shown, it would render the plan pretty much useless as a representation of the home. This home is amazing. Wow. I would say this home is very intense & dramatic. It’s very original. I really don’t like the stainless sinks in the kitchen. What a great porch. The office area is nice to have. Extremely cozy place.

You outdid yourself on this one 😊 I love having a guest room right off the entryway because you can have them hang up their coats and put their luggage right in the room it's just so convenient the only thing I'd rather have than a coat closet is a walk-in mud room where they can hang their coats on hooks and put their boots in their in their umbrellas cuz in case they're wet they'll dry better that way so but other than that I love this home I would even have one size fits all clean booties or slippers for my guests
I know it wasn't set up that way because of the way it's being used as showroom and offices, but I'm sure all that space between the garage and kitchen would make a fantastic mudroom! :)
This is a fantastic place as toured. The plans included in the video are not anywhere close to the house toured. I'd like to envision changes I'd want to have done but I can't do it from this plan.

😂😂 Bryan I know I still have some homes from New Mexico to post but I’m afraid to loose the momentum. I’m excited to show that smaller one to you, it had a gorgeous porch/patio/entryway thing.
It’s a very nice home, I imagine with a full finished basement it would be spectacular. I really love the rock surround mirroring in the great room and the kitchen. The screened porch is gorgeous and very functional. For the bonus room I would have it set up as they do with a nice cozy family room area where you can send the kids to watch tv while you have the great room and kitchen to yourself. The flex room is really practical and well thought out for a modern home giving you a separate area for pc and printer or an area where the kids can do their homework. I really like the stone wall outside the master bedroom and the way they have it sectioned off from being connected to the rest of the house. The tray ceiling in the master is impeccable and I really do like the colors they chose for everything. The only thing I would have liked to see different is to have custom closets in the master as opposed to those wire racks, I had a really bad experience with a wire rack closet coming out of the wall after filling it with clothes and I associate wire racks with open stock box stores. For a home to win such a prestigious award I would think that they would have gone with custom carpentry throughout. It would be wonderful to see how spacious the basement was and there are endless possibilities there giving you room for another bedroom or media room or a large party room with another kitchen setup. Overall fantastic home and though I’m not an open floor plan kind of person this set up is really nicely done and has plenty of private spaces to be able to have quiet time in and really great for a family.
So far loving this home. I would change the back wall in that first bedroom you went in though. But, love how it has that warmer feel to it like the log cabin homes you've done.
I would make that bonus room my Art studio for painting. I like this house, it's on my list of homes that I'm thinking about buying & placing on a far away piece of land in the country.

that bonus room... I would either turn it into a 4th bedroom, or it would become our game room. It is a beautiful house... I'm not sure how practical it would be for a family... but it's a beautiful house! I don't like that I have to go through the master bath to get to the closets. But I love the fireplaces!
We have a bonus room, and we use it as a man cave/family room. I liked this house except for the kitchen. Not enough counter space by the sink. Also, the master bath seems outdated, although I loves the closets.
I'm never crazy about bedrooms by the front door unless it's the master. I feel the same about bedrooms on the ground floor with the master upstairs. I always think about if there was an intruder wouldn't you want the protector of the house closer than the children? I do realize an intruder might not use the front door and also that any security system might include more than just the perimeter of the building so layout might not matter. But still. Also not really fond of that brick around the range mainly because it would be awful to keep clean plus it make the cabinet on the dining room side look all sticky outy. In general I like brighter finishes and cleaner lines but that is my opinion not a flaw in the house. But let's get real please the white farmhouse has gotten so old. This does look like a very well made home! I also really like how it is grand but not huge. It's roomy without being a mansion. That wing of bedrooms behind the fireplace wall seems like the perfect place for the master. A nice sleeping and sitting area up front with dressing and en suite bath facing the back...esp if there was a pool. Indoor outdoor shower? Yes.
This is a lovely home, but the floor plan that you show at the beginning of the video is not for the home you walked through, which was a bit confusing.
I really would make changes to the bathroom and kitchen most of all. I don’t like open concept so that was the main thing keeping me from otherwise loving this house. I feel like the flex room wouldn’t be a practical office for a working adult but maybe for supervising the kids’ schoolwork. I think it would be a better playroom if you have little ones. Or maybe a pantry. It would have to be enclosed for much else and it’s too small for many options. I would like space for a piano in one of these homes and I really hope the trend of putting a TV over the FP goes away soon. I just really feel a FP needs to be beautiful and relaxing and a TV really takes away from that. But I do like the bonus room a lot. I know my son would claim it for his hangout, but if I had my way, it would be my studio or a floor to ceiling library. The screened porch was nice, especially with a pool off it. I think it has a lot of potential and I do love the exterior elevations.
Must see outside vegetation beautiful not some pile of trash in a downtown. I don't understand this garage entrance, but it's purpose probably was changed to a living room. Owners haven't wished to loose all this space in a room, but then it's not divided by activities. Nice to have porch build anywhere for warm spring days.
Lovely home. I would want French glass doors on the office area that I could close for focusing when other noises are in the home. Also, I'd like a door to the back on the screened-in porch. The colors were not my taste, but love most of the overall design.
Nice home. The porch is great. Would change somethings. Get rid of the stone work in the kitchen, can’t imagine trying to clean stone around food and grease. Also make fireplace in living area a wood stove to actually heat the room. The wall on either side of fireplace is too busy and I would also get rid of stone in hallway. The layout is terrific, the bedrooms a nice size, and the master bedroom and bathroom is gorgeous. Just wondering why u no longer open bedroom closet doors? Closets are so important. Hi Nancy! So with this builder I don’t open closets, I still open cabinets… this home just had storage stuff in them do to it dubbing as an office, so I avoided it. Don’t worry I still love opening all of it lol. I keep trying to get her to come tour but a lot of my stuff lately has been out of town and it doesn’t coincide with her work schedule. We have been talking about a trip soon and getting her back in front of the camera. Also check the stories, sometimes she makes an appearance there with the baby. But I will definitely tell them all you said hello and thank you so much for always being here to support us! It truly means the world!

Hi Diane, it’s not the wrong floor plan it’s just flipped. The orientation of these homes can be however since Schumacher builds the custom on site.

It’s a very nice home, I imagine with a full finished basement it would be spectacular. I really love the rock surround mirroring in the great room and the kitchen. The screened porch is gorgeous and very functional. For the bonus room I would have it set up as they do with a nice cozy family room area where you can send the kids to watch tv while you have the great room and kitchen to yourself. The flex room is really practical and well thought out for a modern home giving you a separate area for pc and printer or an area where the kids can do their homework. I really like the stone wall outside the master bedroom and the way they have it sectioned off from being connected to the rest of the house. The tray ceiling in the master is impeccable and I really do like the colors they chose for everything. The only thing I would have liked to see different is to have custom closets in the master as opposed to those wire racks, I had a really bad experience with a wire rack closet coming out of the wall after filling it with clothes and I associate wire racks with open stock box stores. For a home to win such a prestigious award I would think that they would have gone with custom carpentry throughout. It would be wonderful to see how spacious the basement was and there are endless possibilities there giving you room for another bedroom or media room or a large party room with another kitchen setup. Overall fantastic home and though I’m not an open floor plan kind of person this set up is really nicely done and has plenty of private spaces to be able to have quiet time in and really great for a family.

that bonus room... I would either turn it into a 4th bedroom, or it would become our game room. It is a beautiful house... I'm not sure how practical it would be for a family... but it's a beautiful house! I don't like that I have to go through the master bath to get to the closets. But I love the fireplaces!

We have a bonus room, and we use it as a man cave/family room. I liked this house except for the kitchen. Not enough counter space by the sink. Also, the master bath seems outdated, although I loves the closets.

I'm never crazy about bedrooms by the front door unless it's the master. I feel the same about bedrooms on the ground floor with the master upstairs. I always think about if there was an intruder wouldn't you want the protector of the house closer than the children? I do realize an intruder might not use the front door and also that any security system might include more than just the perimeter of the building so layout might not matter. But still. Also not really fond of that brick around the range mainly because it would be awful to keep clean plus it make the cabinet on the dining room side look all sticky outy. In general I like brighter finishes and cleaner lines but that is my opinion not a flaw in the house. But let's get real please the white farmhouse has gotten so old.
This does look like a very well made home! I also really like how it is grand but not huge. It's roomy without being a mansion. That wing of bedrooms behind the fireplace wall seems like the perfect place for the master. A nice sleeping and sitting area up front with dressing and en suite bath facing the back...esp if there was a pool. Indoor outdoor shower? Yes.

This is a lovely home, but the floor plan that you show at the beginning of the video is not for the home you walked through, which was a bit confusing.
I really would make changes to the bathroom and kitchen most of all. I don’t like open concept so that was the main thing keeping me from otherwise loving this house. I feel like the flex room wouldn’t be a practical office for a working adult but maybe for supervising the kids’ schoolwork. I think it would be a better playroom if you have little ones. Or maybe a pantry. It would have to be enclosed for much else and it’s too small for many options. I would like space for a piano in one of these homes and I really hope the trend of putting a TV over the FP goes away soon. I just really feel a FP needs to be beautiful and relaxing and a TV really takes away from that.
But I do like the bonus room a lot. I know my son would claim it for his hangout, but if I had my way, it would be my studio or a floor to ceiling library.
The screened porch was nice, especially with a pool off it. I think it has a lot of potential and I do love the exterior elevations.
Must see outside vegetation beautiful not some pile of trash in a downtown. I don't understand this garage entrance, but it's purpose probably was changed to a living room. Owners haven't wished to loose all this space in a room, but then it's not divided by activities. Nice to have porch build anywhere for warm spring days.

Lovely home. I would want French glass doors on the office area that I could close for focusing when other noises are in the home. Also, I'd like a door to the back on the screened-in porch. The colors were not my taste, but love most of the overall design.

Nice home. The porch is great. Would change somethings. Get rid of the stone work in the kitchen, can’t imagine trying to clean stone around food and grease. Also make fireplace in living area a wood stove to actually heat the room. The wall on either side of fireplace is too busy and I would also get rid of stone in hallway. The layout is terrific, the bedrooms a nice size, and the master bedroom and bathroom is gorgeous. Just wondering why u no longer open bedroom closet doors? Closets are so important. Please say hi to Jen and the boys. Would love to see her in some videos. I can understand why you might not put the boys in ( for safety sake ). Thanks for the tour.
Hi Nancy! So with this builder I don’t open closets, I still open cabinets… this home just had storage stuff in them do to it dubbing as an office, so I avoided it. Don’t worry I still love opening all of it lol. I keep trying to get her to come tour but a lot of my stuff lately has been out of town and it doesn’t coincide with her work schedule. We have been talking about a trip soon and getting her back in front of the camera. Also check the stories, sometimes she makes an appearance there with the baby. But I will definitely tell them all you said hello and thank you so much for always being here to support us! It truly means the world!
